Everyone says this but leave out at the same time we're only 3 points away from being in the bottom quarter of the league, perspective.
-
Some people have some sick fantasies on this site
-
You can say that again!!
-
I really can't, I'm just a man

Yep, if you walk into a room and think one person is an idiot there's a chance you're right but if you walk into a room and think everyone's an idiot then there's a high chance it's you* *I don't think he's an idiot, just using the saying.

Nick pope for us this season 11 clean sheets in 30, Ramsdale 1 in 20. Top that off with us consistently scoring 1 goal it speaks volumes to me in what difference it could make.
-
Totally agree - we have fuck all left to play for so get out your confirm zone and try new things, I'd love to see him and wissa up front with Murphy banging crosses in and osalu waiting on the bench if it doesn't work out, preferably to try on the right. The big problem though is at the back - we can't expect our front line to get three goals every game to get the three points. People will probably jump on me but give Pope another run out and say "go get your place back" - at least he's proved he can keep clean sheets.

What about an attacker for a top 14 team? In all seriousness though I believe it is yes if used properly. Right now as with all of our squad house confidence will be hanging out his arse but this is his first season so it's magnified for him probably. Again, like I said in the Wissa thread I haven't given up on him.
-
You just seen the photo of him stood in the net right?
-
And if he buys crap and it goes wrong again don't people will blame anyone but him "the negotiations were crap", "the scouts were given cheap binoculars so couldn't see the players properly" etc

I'm doing it in my job right now as a 51 year old DevOps Engineering Lead whose brain is getting older.

I'm not getting into an argument with you because too be honest I'm sick too the back teeth off arguing on here. I work in Nottingham and get people commenting on Howe bad we are every fucking day at work so I come on here to talk with some of my own. Wissa has only had 430ish minutes this season and deserves more. I defended it when Gordon was playing up front because he was our best forward at the time in my opinion but can't accept Osalu is the answer. Until he's had more minutes and a bigger chance then I haven't given up on him personally.

Now you've done - someone will call you a Bruce lover now.
-
Not read it and not going to but half of us expect that every week at the moment and I suspect our opponents also expect that from us as well as it's happened in around 25% of our games this season.
-
Fact is you don't know that for certain, I don't know that and I suspect nobody on this forum knows that either.
-
Get your point but his first two seasons were 7 goals and every season he got better - last two seasons he's averaged 15 goals a season and him and mbeumo were involved together in over 40 goals (where they assisted each other or worked together) so he's clearly proven he can work as part of a team, he also said it was his dream move. All im saying is I'm not ready to call him a cunt yet.

Just like it's a daily occurrence from a different poster that he's not to blame and it's more of a reason to explain this season as he was let down by others. Don't want to get into again but it's simply a subject that splits people so perhaps that end of season investigation could be good - what happened? Why were so many players turning us down or we couldn't get the deal done? What went wrong with Isak, should he have been sold sooner, did it cause bad feeling with the players as maybe some sided with him? Why have the players stopped playing for the club now? Why are so many new signings being frozen out? I genuinely don't want to discuss them now as I feel it's an absolute waste of time because we all have our own thoughts and that's what they are - thoughts, I want the owners to give a shit, man the fuck up and do something about it. Eddie may not be open to new ideas but I want them to prove they'll learn and evolve.
-
That's exactly where I'm at - I saw the lineup yesterday and even though it's hit a wall as teams have worked us out and especially Bournemouth have it was the same lineup and same formation. It was do or die for me - gets a win then he gets to spin the "my approach will pull us out eventually, I never lost belief" but if we lose yet another, making it 4 from the last 5 home then you look a stubborn idiot.
-
He got 45 goals in 4 seasons for Brentford, you genuinely think you get them numbers for £30m?
-
Wissa had only played 427 premiere League minutes this season, harsh to close the door on him like Howe seems too have. This is the least amount of minutes he's ever played in a season in the premiere League (1373 mins, 7 goals, 1600 mins 7 goals, 2508 mins 12 goals, 2929 mins 19 goals then we play him for 434 mins) that's 45 goals before signing for us)
-
And Brentford, they lost their manager, mbeumi and wissa (40 goal involvements between them last season), their captain and their starting keeper. On top of this they lost 4 other starters, they spent only ,£90m and currently sit in 7tb with just goal difference stopping them from going 6th.
-
Just been saying the exact same to my father, that and says what you like about Wissa but he proved last season he can do it and has averaged one goal in three I believe throughout, on top of that we have internationals scattered through the squad. I hope we get someone in to make something work.
-
Lost 5 out of the last 6 at home
-
That actually feels like a positive outlook lol.
