So you do not have any examples. Like I said, we will most likely get a freebie like DCL or someone cheap from abroad. If you think it is going to be big money striker, prepare to be disappointed.
-
I ask you again: Who are these proven strikers we should be after, given our current squad, it's flaws and PSR situation? I am happy with 3-4 names
-
Our cover for RW is to play people out of position. We are not getting a big money striker as a Isak backup. That just does not happen with PSR. Thinking that is a joke tbh. We are getting a backup option, either a free like DCL or cheap from abroad. If we were going to get expensive striker, why offer Wilson new deal? To be a 3rd choice?
-
We need a RW first and foremost. Offering Wilson contract makes it look like we are sharing the minutes Isak is not playing with Gordon, Osula, 3rd striker. We are not going to bring big money striker, and we haven't even been linked with one.
-
How do we get this "striker of quality", when we have more pressing concerns in other areas of the pitch? Any examples who we should look for? If we buy GK, RCB and RW all of quality, we have no money for this "striker of quality". And this leaves us with 5 midfielders for 3 places, which is way too few. You can't understand people's thinking and I can't understand your thinking.

Well of course we need to take that into account. But Osula as a Isak backup is not an option at all. DCL playes 26 games last season, (yea, only 1600 minutes in PL) and 32 before that. 23/24 he played 100 minutes less than Isak. I don't think everyone is calling Isak "injury ridden player" Yes, I don't think he is by no means a perfect player, but we have to get GK, RCB, RW and most likely a CM with very limited budget. Getting a 2nd or 3rd striker for free is not a worst possible move.
-
Certainly he can replace Wilson? We need bodies in, and DCL coming in to replace totally useless Wilson is a start. Of course we need a good RW more than that, but we can't buy them all now.
-
Osula is not ready to be a second choice striker.
-
I saw that news credited to some saudi sport site. Romano is of course doing his job and getting clicks.
-
Wilson is done. He cant be a target player and doesnt have legs anymore. At least Calwert-Lewin offers something else.
-
I would definitely take DCL for a free as a backup
-
Well there certainly is a list of players and Pedro was one of them.
-
Harvey Elliot would not help us in any way.
-
That seems to be from a quite shitty source.
-
What is the problem with Andy Howe? Thing is, we should look elsewhere. But certainly if we are bidding player has not knocked us back. May want to go to Chelsea still.
-
The sad thing is that PSR encourages us to sell players like Anderson. He would be useful player and perhaps would allow us to sell Joelinton to Saudi in a year or two. He might get England call up, but on the other hand he is 23 next November, so he should be pretty soon if he is a top player. With "decent prem level player" I mean players that are not good enough for a bigger role in top club, but could be valuable squad players. Bit like Curtis Jones, younger Callum Wilson, Tosin, Jacob Ramsay, Ross Barkley, Raul Jimenez.... I might not make any sense with my posts. But I'd like to have him in our squad in place of Willock.
-
Like I said, he is decent PL level player. I hope player like him wouldnt be a starter for us. Which other top6 team would Anderson start for? I think none.
-
I dont give any credit to U21 games. Poor Finland nearly won that Dutch side. Harvey Elliott has also looked good in this tournament. And yes, I have watched him. I dont see a player who would start for top6. If Anderson starts more than 30 games for UCL team in 3-4 years, I will buy you a pint. edit. He is nowhere near Joelinton’s level atm
-
He wouldnt have been starter this season and hopefully we wouldnt need him in the future, apart from rotation. Better than Willock but pretty much the same attacking output
-
I dont think he is anything special. PL level player and from the youth setup so sad that he had to be sold. But in the long term, not much of place for him in the team.
-
They are not selling him.

This is really tedious transfer "saga" from start to finish. Move on.
