Completely lost his confidence / killer instinct. Same goes for alot of our other players. Something isnt right at the club, because many of them are playing alot better away in international games. Used to be certain he would score when he got a good chance, now im just waiting to see how he fucks up.
-
They have improved, but its from looking like a relegation side to a mid-table one. Lets hope he can take the next step.
-
The fact that we didnt get anyone suggest that he does think that way to some extent. The money was available.
-
Overall we still have gotten more points than we have deserved tbh.
-
Remember that one of the reasons that we didnt get anything in the summer market is because Eddie thought there were very few available players who were better than our current lot. Having Almiron/Murphy on the RW options and Schär and Burn as starter CBs was his decision, the money were available to replace them. But he thought they were good enough so that he could wait for the perfect replacements. Im all for giving him more time, but there is no excuses if he cant turn the ship around this season imo.

Felt like a game with two poor sides this. Our defense are making easy mistakes and our attackers seems like they are trying to fuck a girl with a soft dick. Getting close, but its never going to get in.
-
Honestly, what is the point of calling the ref over? 100% of the time they reverse the decision they made.
-
Competely lost his killer instinct.

🤣

Burn is great at what he is good at, but his speed is just to much of a liability.

That depends on the ref. 0 non-penalty goals in the last 4 games now. -
Getting the players mentally and psysically ready is part of the managements job tbh. Its one of the things Howe did expectionally well during his first 18 months here.

There is always going to be an overreaction when we lose at home. No way we deserved to win by a couple of goals though. We just didnt create enough or have a good enough defense to claim that. Like I said when we won against Tottenham, the game isnt won by dominating possesion. -
Yes the first half hour we looked great, but we didnt create that much really. After they scored we were poor i thought. Considering that we needed to chase for a goal and we didnt come that close at all. Isak should have buried that one chance yes, but other than that i cant remember us having any clear chances? Remember this was a home game were we picked up an absolute majority of our points last season. Its very worrying that teams can just put up a low block and watch us struggle to get through. We were desperate for a player to give us some options in those situations, but somehow all our attention went to chase an overvalued defender who had a good couple of games for England this summer. Its all very depressing

If Isak and Gordon had been in form things would have looked completely different. But they arent and we looked toothless like we have done all season sadly. Other than finishing we looked good before their goal though, so thats a small thing to take with us. Like I have said before, if Eddie deserves credit for making players overperform then he also deserves criticism when players underperform. I think its to easy to say things like he cant put the ball in the net himself. 9 goals in 10 games now, thats shockingly bad. Eddie has a big job getting the players confident infront of goal. The way things look now i wouldnt be surprised to see us bottom half this season. -

How long has it been if we exclude goals from Barnes aswell? No wonder we arent scoring atm. -

Other than no Barnes thats a pretty good team. Not bad having Barnes to sub in aswell by all means. -
We really should aim for CL now that we can fully focus on PL. Especially if England gets 5 spots.
-
If this were the 22/23 season id agree that it wasnt our best game, but it was a major improvement from the away games we have seen for a long time now.
-
Other than finishing this was a pretty good game from us tbh. Shit finishing though..
