Looking at it in slow motion, I actually think it was a pen against Dubravka. He lifts his arm up and its not really true that the forest player left his leg hanging, he didnt have any chance to get his leg over Dubravkas arm there. Im not sure how much him being able to reach the ball or not factors in to the decision?

Has Barnes ever tried playing as a forward? We are running out of options here and while Gordon may do a job there, I think he is so much better coming from wide.

Longstaff is never going to get a pen because of how clumsy he looks when he falls over.

Im not ignoring any good he is doing and i dont at all think he is a liability all 90 minutes. But football is about scoring goals and only a few of them happens every game. Lately there has been way to many goals and chances coming out of nowhere because of Burns speed and that there is too much space between him and the non-sweeper keeper when he plays at LB. That liability is to much for me when he offers so little offensively and we have a ready to go replacement in Livramento.

Even though i have lost my rose-colored glassed and are annoyed as fuck with him atm, im far from ready to let him go. He turned a team of flops into a genuin top 4 team. The transformation of Joelinton, Almiron, Schär, Murphy, Longstaff erc. is nothing short of amazing. His positives still far outweigh any negatives we have seen lately for me.

Tino did nothing wrong there tbh. If he hadnt followed his guy in to the center he would have been alone in front of the goal. He then reacted fast to put pressure on the guy who Barnes wasnt back in time to cover.

I dont think Burn is getting a lot of hate. For me the biggest problem isnt even him playing, its leaving Tino on the bench. Burn is a grown man an a professional football player, he should be able to cope with the fans wanting to see our young and exciting talent. Its not like people would be chanting for Targett if he was on the bench.

I didnt drop Tino from FPL before this weeks game lol. Some part of that was forgetfullness sure. But was also certain that he was just resting Tino the first few games.

He is just too good coming from the wing imo.
