There doesn't exist a Isak replacement for us atm. Wissa is the closest one for us. I can understand not wanting him because of his behaviour, but we are getting desperate. We can find a longer term replacement later.

Isak can agree to a lower contract so Liverpool gets more room to pay us the fee we want if he is so desperate.

Rather see him rot on the bench than let Liverpool get a good deal. £135m + 10-15m addons minimum.

These odds mean nothing unless you can also get the reversed odds on him staying. The betting companies risks nothing by giving a low odds.

We are going to get in more players. And since its mainly about squad depth to last the season it doesn't hurt that bad that they come in late.

Yeah I dont think fake it until you make it works in football. And its not like om saying we should let players go everytime a bigger club comes along. Sure Liverpool will be strengthened when they are splashing out that kind of money, but there is no guarantee that it will work out and that their money could have been better spent elsewhere. Don't really see the problem regarding optics. They are a bigger club than us atm, selling to them for a record british fee doesn't reflect poorly on us imo. Not sure what to say about that Kane could have gone for £40m.

Well I think we can use that money to improve the squad. I dont really see an unpopular Isak around being THAT valuable to us.

If not Isak they can find another striker who will bang in 20 goals a season for £150m.
