  1. Yeah I dont get the meltdown at all. All our transfer being hijacked is more funny than anything else. Not the clubs fault that players prefer other teams. The management deserve some criticism for not moving fast enough on to other players, but thats it. It's also understandable that things are a bit chaotic considering the sudden departure of our DOF. Still believe we will broaden our list of targets and get in some quality players before the transfer window ends. Don't think there is that much need to hurry to get things done before the season starts(other than a replacement for Isak if he leaves). We have a good team, we just need more depth to last through the whole season.
  2. This is my preferred option now aswell if we don't we a bid in the region of £140-150m. Giving him a new high paying contract is the last thing we should do after his recent antics.
  3. Well lets see how it ends up. We have been a little "unlucky" so far with almost all of our targets being hijacked by the big 6, but they cant have them all and the transfer window is still open for a long time. I'm going to wait until the end of the window before making a judgement on his new bigger role here.
  4. Don't think Bruno would have acted this way. He has had interest from big teams before.
  5. Thats not really a counterargument to him being a mercenary. I do think players are different myself, some of them buy more into the feelings and passion around the club than others. And when it comes to Isak I think he just saw us as his current employer.
  6. That timing of that is just fantastic 😀
  7. His nephew is probably a smart guy, related to Eddie after all But I just find it hard to see how Eddie can complain about how things how turned out when he by all accounts have huge control over what is going on.
  8. Agree. Some people just have this innate drive to whine. Things are looking better for us than they have in a long time, and football itselfs has been what it has been for a long time, soulless.
  9. Don't really get why Eddie would feel let down by the club, the money is clearly available this summer. Not PIFs fault that he and his nephew are only going after players who don't want to come here.
  10. Its not like he was great in the build-up play or had the legs to press like the rest of our team either. Think selling him could end up a good thing for us. Always look on the bright side of life.
  11. Creating a group of people who are fighting together for something has more to do with the human aspect of things and less to do with professionalism. I just think having the main guy being someone who wants to leave would mess that up a little, people can disagree.
  12. Its not just about having a shit attitude, but the players will know that he wanted to go. Can easily see it mess with the unity in the squad.
  13. Just don't think we would have gone for him if those rumours were true.
  14. Yeah just thinking about team morale, don't doubt that he would be professional.

PSR amortisation is also max 5 years isn't it?
  17. If you are still around it has not happened quickly like 🤣 Football has lost its soul a long time ago.
  18. Who reported that Arsenal turned him down because of wage demand?
  19. Well there is no hiding that we kinda are if Isak is set to leave.
  20. But things have perhaps changed after Isak did his recent moves. Certainly alot of the fanbase have changed their minds about him.
