Second my friend, second, we from Paranaense were already there!
-
I still think my prayse in this first post wasn't enough. What a player!
-
Bruno's topic is on the second page, that's unaceptable
-
4231 with Joelinton and Bruno as the 2 DM would be nice.
-
Great player overall, FM rarely get's it wrong

Saint Miggy!
-
Really quick feet from Willock. Lovely double touch

Watching the game with an awful woman narrator in ESPN Brasil, no emotion in the voice at all (that's a crime in south america). I don't know why female narrators in Brazil have a need to make their voices deeper when narrating, if she used her natural voice would be so much better.

It's wanting too much in my eyes, he tries so hard sometimes that he loses composure.
-
He's been on bad form since the game with cameroon in the WC tbf.
-
With Pope as a GK that cup final would never be 2-0. What a save!
-
What a header from Isak!

To this day the size of Adama Traoré impresses me, he looks like an heavy weight fighter.
-
LOL, I really haven't been seeying barça games, last time I checked Dembelé was the one doing that on the RW
-
I think Bruno and Martinelli really deserve the spot, but Raphinha not so much on his current form (but what he played before for brazil will get him back on the list)
-
Out of Brazil squad for the next friendly. João Gomes from Wolves took his spot. They've given chances to a lot of youngsters and some good players from the Brazilian League, including Mycael (third choice keeper in his club 19 y/o), Andrey and Vitor Roque to name a few u20 wonderkids

I still think those 3 will be Brasil's midfield for a while in the next World Cup cycle. Fernandinho is absolute class, he oozes it every time he touche's the ball. He had a really shitty luck for the national team, being mainly involved in the 7-1 in 2014 and conceiding a own goal plus not fouling Lukaku on the counter in 2018. Still, he's back at his childhood club (my club as well) and if he's not the best second midfielder in the brazilian league this year he's a close second. So good to see a player of his quality back still at an insane level at our club, I dare say he would have a spot at the toon squad even today, if not a startes as a great second half option and a dressing room leader. (after the final we played as well today, he is just a diferent breed) 37 year's old and he's THE "regista" in Brazil right now for me (main media will hype Gerson since he play's for Flamengo)
-
Well, he's only 31, for a DM I believe he has 2 to 3 years in top form given his quality and awareness of defensive positioning, should still play the 5 role in Brazil next world cup unless some wonderkid comes through

I totally agree on Kroos, and also agree on prime Busquets, I was comparing longevity with real impatc as well and that's why I would put Casemiro in place. Just compare this United team with and without him. They were mid tabble at best, since he's come on they've been improving and now they're the best performing team in the league. It's not just about great passes and overall technical ability but the dressing room presence and mentality he brings to any team (That I can say about Brazil and now United) is amazing. He has been themidifield anchor for some of the most pleasing to watch teams of the last decade (Brazil, Prime Real with C M T midfield and now this top form United), those teams are one with him and totally different teams without him. Prime Barça was still be amazing to watch with Mascherano instead of Busquets, Prime Real was totally off team without Casemiro, it's about the impact he has on those teams with mentality, drive and leadership as well as his prime destroyer role
-
I blamed him on the second goal and I still think Pope would have caught that but he was good today, deserves a backup keeper spot
-
Eddie my man, if there weren't any medical issues why the hell was Isak benched? If you think that he wasn't essential in ANY role starting the match please send me your weed dealer info because I wanna be that high to forget today's match!

I still think prime Vieira was a better player overall, would have Vieira and Rijkarrd as my main classic DMF over Makelele any day, but as you said, on his role he was impecable. Casemiro for me is the same but a little more decisive, he's amazing at his role but you should not expect much more, and at his role he's FOR ME the GOAT of his generation, like I said before on this topic, peak Busquets was more interesting to watch, but Casemiro mere presence was way more decisive to his teams(club and national) than Busquets ever was.
