Actually think he needs to be left in Holland. It's way better for his long term development to play on a fairly consistent basis there than coming here and getting a few 10 minute cameo's between now and the end of the season. Fully expect him to be in the squad next season.

After these two Livramento performances we should feel confident giving Trippier more rest. Even now this lad could get a game at RB at at least 12/13 teams in the PL. No reason when the likes of Luton, Bournemouth, Sheff Utd etc come to St James we should feel like Trippier has to play.

One of the biggest takeaways for me last night was just how much more/better football we were able to play with Hall at LB. Obviously BDB is solid as fuck, & likely won't be getting dropped consistently this season, but having a quicker, more technically proficient player in there allows us to switch up. Most games we tend to favour building up down the right.
