Up the steps we go... Was hoping to type that a bit later...

A familiar feeling! Fact is, we’ve lost our mojo for a while now. We were brilliant for most of the first half of the season, but we’ve switched off in the second - where it counts. The long picture still looks rosy, but the waiting goes on a bit longer. Man U were well drilled and had the measure of us. No doubt about that. We weren’t outclassed like in the 99 final, we had loads of possession but we still came up short for all our efforts. Genuine attempts on their goal were few and far between. They took their chances. Only thing to do now is to try and finish as high as possible in the league and see how we go in the summer. We might not make Europe either, who knows? I just hope the quality players in our team have enough belief to remain a part of it. Howe has some big decisions to make when this season is done. This team is worthy of our support, and I’m sure they have it in spades. Just look at our fans in the final few minutes… We just need that next step to be taken ASAP. Still a great season, nonetheless. Chin up lads and lasses. There’s more to come. Hope we don’t completely fold at the Etihad!
