Unlikely. Ajax lost way too many players this window to let go of a key player for a reasonable price. I am very excited to see who we are going to get though! Plenty of exciting names.

Struggling to see us going into the season with only four midfielders, Bruno, Joelinton, Willock, and Sean Longstaff. We are certainly bringing in a midfielder.
-
Isak's arrival will not change much, as we now still need a backup centre forward. It is a matter of how much we are willing to pay for Pedro.

Martin Dúbravka (now playing for Burnley)

15m is just unreasonable. I do not want us to act the way Manchester did last January, we should be better than that. -

He will certainly be paid more, that should be enough of a reason to want to go there. Dubravka earns £ 38,077 per week (£ 1,980,000), while Brandon Williams earns £ 65,000 per week (£ 3,380,000). Of course, we do not owe Manchester anything, 5m is the absolute minimum price we should be considering, or get any of their promising players on loan with an option to buy. -
I do not believe that we were in for both of them. Wilson's injury made us reconsider our options. I hope we still go for him since we already agreed on pretty much everything though?

We should let him go if he wants to go there. Manchester is a great club, and I hope we do not deny him the opportunity to go there, particularly at this stage of his career. -
I would say either Dest or Depay (before we decided to go for Isak as I cannot see both coming) if that is true.
-
I agree with most of you, I think we should go for him and potentially a defensive midfielder. Not many exciting options for the right-wing position, unfortunately.
-
It is a credible source. Isak is a really good player, and his underwhelming numbers do not in any way reflect his quality. I personally think 70m (up to 75m + 10% of future sale) is too much for him.

Sometimes transfers take a little more than expected to get announced. Emerson Palmieri was confirmed to West Ham a few days ago, and was not officially announced until after the medical test. Casemiro got two official announcements, so there is no one way how clubs go about that. However, if we submit another bid, then it is safe to assume that Fabrizio Romano was wrong.

How can someone be this irritating? Unbelievable.

A left winger ??
-
That they are open to selling him. No intention of reinforcing the squad, and the process of selling the club may take a while. Cannot see them wanting to keep him under such circumstances, particularly when he is in his prime. They may (I know absolutely nothing about how that works, but can the owners take the money for themselves?) also want to get as much money as they could before selling the club.
-
That explains why we made an offer. I think we stand a chance of getting him for a reasonable fee then.
-
Can see us going after Khephren Thuram if we actually made an offer to Kone. It seems that we want to add three players, hopefully we manage to do that ?
-
It is happening, awesome. I would like to take our chances with Neto as a wide addition to our attack ?

Not familiar with this particular source, but I know that Mike Verweij is very reliable when it comes to Dutch football, particularly Ajax. David Ornstein and Alfredo Martinez's calibre.
