  1. I would like to see Guido Rodriguez at NUFC, he is a brilliant CDM and should be available for a reasonable fee (less than 25m) because Betis are struggling financially, and they need 25m before the end of June. Here is a comparison:
  2. There is no chance that the club's budget is anything less than 100m. It is safe to assume that it is between 150-250m. We certainly should expect at the very least a CB, LB, RW, and CF. A midfielder and a GK is very likely as well.
  3. You can see here that Ndicka (12.37) got better pressure stats than Botman (7.39): https://fbref.com/en/players/441197b8/Obite-NDicka vs https://fbref.com/en/players/ccce7025/Sven-Botman
  4. Physically not as exciting as Evan Ndicka, but I think he has a better character. I prefer Ndicka, personally.
  5. I personally believe that Juve and Munich 2015 (and Madrid 2015, for that matter) are superior to CFC, City, LFC, and Madrid 2022. Overall, football's quality was better back then than it is right now.
  6. Now I get your point, and I agree. What made Madrid's run tougher was their situation, they clearly were not the favourite in any of the ties unlike Barca. I think the quality of football and Barca's opponents were so much better, and perhaps that what gave me the impression that it was a harder run.
  7. Football, unfortunately does not work with ifs and buts. It is really unacceptable to blame anyone when you fail to score in three finals in a season.
  8. I agree with PSG and City. But that Munich and Juve teams were levels ahead of any team this season, particularly Juve. I still believe that Barca's run was overall tougher, but Madrid's is certainly more impressive when we take into account Barca 2015 vs Madrid 2022
  9. I disagree. I think it is more on LFC. Klopp cannot get away with 0 goals in three finals, that is just simply unacceptable. I genuinely do not understand how the media is not as critical of Klopp as they are with Pep.
  10. Barca had a tougher one in 2014/15 Group stage ahead of PSG and Ajax who were the winners of their respective leagues. Knocked out City who were the winner of PL Knocked out PSG who were the winner of L1 Knocked out Munich who were the winner of Bundesliga Won the CL vs Juve who were the winner of SA
  11. I really hope that his future gets sorted as soon as possible, as I do not want us to miss on Evan Ndicka, particularly when he is available for a reasonable price.
  12. Paqueta seems more of a CAM (Coutinho/ Bruno Fernandes), which is fine if he was available for around 30m. I would not spend anything more than that on him, though. We should wait it out and address our other positions before we go after him, in my opinion.
  13. Ideally, you would want both defensive and offensive midfielders alongside Bruno.
  14. Paqueta signing is more of a luxury one. The club certainly needs a RW first, followed by a CF, and then perhaps a defensive midfielder. That is not to mention a LB and a CB.
  15. Not the biggest fan of Diaby, I wish we were after Antony instead.
  16. Luis Sinisterra (1999), 48 games 23 goals and 14 assists this season. I think he was linked to NUFC a while ago, interesting player.
  17. Klopp is certainly good, one of the best in his generation. The issue is not about his quality, it is more about the narrative that he is doing more than expected just because he is not spending as much as his rivals. Pedro (free) Villa (40m) Messi (fee) Iniesta (free) Busquets (free) Xavi (free) Abidal (15m) Pique (5m) Puyol (free) Alves (35m) Valdes (free) The cost of one if not the best starting 11 in football history was 95m What I am trying to say is that the quality of the squad should not be judged by how much you have spent to build it, rather how much you are spending to keep it = salary. Although Klopp has not spent as much as Pep, he still has as good of a squad as Pep; therefore, both should be held to the same standards in my opinion.
  18. On paper, Klopp has the best squad in the world individually. Third highest paid squad in the world after PSG and Man City, but somehow, Klopp managed to convince the public that he is still managing an average team. Recruiting top players is hard, I must admit, but keeping them is harder, particularly because you need to pay them well. The tale that LFC does not have resources or spend much is hilarious. Zero win vs top 4 this season, that is also something to keep note of.
  19. PSG is preparing a 45m offer for Ekitike.
  20. I think they meant relative to what people expect (500m+). I still believe that the club is going to spend something between 150m-250m.
  21. I assume that they will not make any deal before securing a CL spot. Could be wrong, though.
  22. Nightmare for Arsenal supporters. Hopefully, tonight's result will give us the opportunity to get Aaron Hickey before Arsenal do.
  23. That is unfortunate. Young, can play on either side, cheap, most importantly though is that he is brilliant offensively.
  24. This is their account for anyone who might be interested: @aycazehraakcay Honestly, that is just amazing and clean, love it.
