  1. Yep. Liverpool can’t afford to take their foot off the pedal at only 1-0. We’ve pushed higher up and our FBs have been immense against their wingers.
  2. I think BDB and Schar have had decent games here, but I really get nervous when they both push up towards the halfway line
  3. I thought Willock looked ok tbh - Wilson’s movement (or movement offside) has left him without an option a couple of times.
  4. Not the worst half we’re ever going to see - Hall was really impressive there, especially given who he’s up against. Soft as shite goal to concede of course. We’re definitely still in this.
  5. Out of form and it’s also likely that most teams have worked out ways to play against him. He doesn’t give the impression of someone looking forward to his next move - tbf his matches against the ‘big boys’ is instructive of where he sits in the football universe.
  6. Don’t let Rod catch you with that new avatar mind - your taste will be questioned
  7. Haha yep, more than likely. But before then I’m clinging onto some hope
  8. Probably, though he’s finishing like a player who’s not played much for a long time. Massively rusty.
  9. Ah, got you. Yeah he did the same when Murphy had the ball out wide on the right about ten mins in - the one where Murphy slipped when crossing
  10. It’s a shame, but the lad’s race is run in B&W Cue a new contract
  11. Three times - he did that with Willock early on, when Willock ended up running into touch
  12. Wilson offside. I’ll write that a lot tonight.
  13. He did, and I love the man. But fuck me he looks rusty with offside traps.
  14. If Callum Wilson could stop running offside that would be canny
  15. Wilson remains the second best ‘traditional’ no. 9 I’ve seen in B&W (Isak isn’t an old school CF, and Shearer obviously was better). Might not be a popular view, but I’d stick him above Ferdinand, Ba, Quinn etc in my lifetime. Without the injuries he’d have been an incredible centre forward - in his pomp for us, his strength, power and finishing was first rate. He’s probably the best I’ve seen at one on ones - the man has a very cool head (and a handsome one to boot). Like others have said, sadly he’s probably been here a little longer than he should have. But we’re in a cup final and might even reach another one this season - I wouldn’t write off him coming off the bench and grabbing a vital goal just yet and signing off in style. I still love the bloke tbh (can you tell?).
  16. Honestly, I’m surprised by that with Trippier. I must’ve been watching a different player these last 18 months.
