  1. We’re unlikely to get that given his injury record and age I’d rather see the lad stay, but if he’s off I’d bet the fee will be in the £10-15m range
  2. The poor coefficients meant that our CL take wasn’t as much as many would have thought. Villa will likely make as much as us if they win the Conference League - and they get a trophy out of it too.
  3. Stadium costs are FFP neutral (though interest on borrowings aren’t - though I’m assuming that the owners would cough up the sums themselves)
  4. Agree with everything other than Europe, which is still very important irrespective of which competition - for coefficients, commercials, match day income, attracting players etc
  5. The Newcastle players had an issue when a former manager tried to get them dancing to get them moving better. Though that manager was Charlie Mitten and it was the 1950s, so times do move on. Not on Wearside though, clearly
  6. Yep, if he’s off then he’ll still be a top bloke and player in my eyes. He was this generation’s Brian Kilcline for me (though obviously a much better player)
  7. He also used to be very good on Champ Man in his younger days
  8. He said it in one of his YouTube videos a while back. I’d have to go through his online video ouevre, and I’m not willing to do that - so you’ll have to take my word for it.
  9. My favourite is still him shit-stirring re Ryan Fraser before a cup final. A player who could never sell a single copy of a newspaper, but Hope was happy to cause maximum possible disruption before a cup final for a MAIL EXCLUSIVE which no cunt could possibly care about. The man can fuck off, the moon-landing denying weirdo
  10. I’m sure Trippier is telling everyone he meets what his innermost thoughts are, in fairness. And he can’t accept a bid from Bayern.
  11. He hasn’t been costing us match after match, either
  12. The only people who could know that are those at the very top of the club - Howe, Ashworth, and the owners. Anyone else isn’t ITK.
  13. Utter bollocks, every part of that is wrong
  14. The entire football world is limited in the same way. I don’t see why NUFC would be the club whose reputation damaged by it. It is a section of our support who never accepted that FFP was a real thing who are going to be the upset party. It was pretty obvious that the majority of the players being signed over the last two years would not be here for a long time, due to FFP. There will be cycles of players until we get to where we’re aiming.
  15. Christ, I hope not. Our dead ball routines are absolute gash and have been for some time.
  16. I’m perfectly ok with a game plan which hasn’t been working changing tbh
  17. Would have thought so. Besides, it’s Bayern Munich - that’s a bloody hard move to turn down
  18. Someone wants to tell Bayern they’re bidding for a player who isn’t interested. That would be embarrassing
  19. I doubt that this is FFP. There’s been rumours circulating about Trippier for a while; besides, Bayern are one of the world’s biggest clubs. He can hardly be blamed for being interested in the move.
  20. Like the Nou Camp? No, there wouldn’t be enough space to make it worthwhile - the Nou Camp had a running track originally
  21. We paid £12m for him two years ago. He would have literally no resale value even if he was to leave Bayern in the near future. No way they pay much more than we did. The £15m+ talk is crackers.
  22. Can’t be true mate. Kimmich is worth several times what Trippier is
  23. That the Twitter gadgie? What has he said?
  24. I’m perfectly ok with him leaving, but he’d still be the best RB I’ve seen in B&W to date. I’m hopeful Livramento will take that crown quickly.
  25. It’s good to see that Taribo West’s barber is still going strong
