I don’t think anyone has played well today. Somehow Wolves are worse yet a goal up -

Literally give the ball away softly with his first touch of the second half. It’s precisely how he’s performed in the match I’m watching -

Lost possession quite a few times. Seems to think he has more time than he does. -

I really don’t want to see Burn LB ever again. Or Longstaff, generally. -
I honestly thought Bruno looked like he was struggling towards the end of the Man City game. Winning cup games means a great deal to me, so I’m not going to complain re the manager utilising his best players - though I can sympathise with the thought that bringing on a knock-carrying Bruno against though vicious bastards when 2-1 up with 5 to go wasn’t Howe’s finest moment
-
It speaks to Man Utd’s sense of entitlement. I’ve missed hating those cunts - proper hating them. If we do manage to get back amongst the big boys, it’ll be nice to proper hate them again.
-
Mental thing is, prior to c.1996 they would’ve been correct. Chelsea to most people were London’s fourth club until the mid-‘90s. A reminder that footballing reputation isn’t static - it can change significantly over time.
-
Yep, they’d still be excellent ‘yo-yo’ club players
-
I haven’t seen a concrete date yet. Ashley signing those deals with Castore and Fun88 when the takeover was still stalled feels like a final ‘fuck you’.
-
It’s not about him wanting to move, it’s about the allegation that he thinks the club should just allow to go on loan to Man Utd for nowt. I’ve no issue at all with Dubravka wanting to leave (though I would have thought at his age 1st team football would be the priority). None whatsoever.
-
Yeah, fair enough. Point stands re Man Utd though. Cough up or fuck off

Christ, he’s phenomenal at statements like that. Do you think Edwards and his other media pals just hear the first part of the sentence - all the way up to ‘but’ - and everyone else hears the rest? -
I’m not upset - I realise that this isn’t always the best medium to show what my actual emotions are! - I’m mildly annoyed by Dubravka, and frankly Man Utd can GTF. Is that the same club which wanted £15m to loan out Lingard for six months? They should stump up what we’re asking for or bugger off. And if Dubravka is happy warming benches, I understand the ones at SJP have heaters.
-
Man Utd are apparently baulking at paying a fee, but Dubravka wants to be let go anyway. Man Utd should pay a fee every time we end up with Darlow in nets as far as I’m concerned
-
Then Man Utd should pay a fee, and Dubravka should keep his yap shut until they do. We don’t owe him or Man Utd any favours.
-
So he’s earned the right to break his contract then? ‘Boo hoo I’m not good enough to get a start - let me go to Man Utd for nowt and sit on their bench?’ Bollocks to that
-
Dubravka can, quite frankly, get fucked on that one. I’d rather let him rot in the reserves than force a free transfer. His colours has well and truly been shown for all to see here.

I think ‘Vaux rage’ is what happens when Mackem fewm is exacerbated by eight pints of their local fizzy chemical pish

This is of course precisely what they should do - but they can’t; they are psychologically incapable of it. Everything is viewed through a B&W prism for them.
