Not quite couple of games before 1st Jan
-
That referee was utterly useless mind
-
Yes you fuckers
-
These fuckers are trying to screw ya here
-
SEVEN FUCKING MINUTES????
-
Haha yep, that rankled me as well
-
Combination of the subs and us dropping back now we’re 1-0 up. We can afford to drop deep and hit on the counter now
-
Ashley years still not out of my system. My anxiety levels are going through the roof for no really good reason
-
This refereeing is worrying dogshit mind
-
Fucking yes lad
-
Never thought I’d say this but I’d potentially think about taking Bruno off here
-
The ref is going to blow up for everything
-
That would have been incredibly harsh to give a pen in fairness. The lad is sliding for the ball - his arm is in a natural position. You can’t slide with your arms stuck to the side of your torso
-
Its great to watch our high press. Swarming them like B&W hornets. Love it.
-
Everything about Neom is chilling. If the entire insane project ever completes, you’d have to hope few people would want anything to do with it. Can’t imagine many punters from Tyneside being interested in fairness - the KSA alcohol ban wouldn’t exactly entice many for their jollies
-
It’s a good idea. But would the Scottish Rugby Union ever contemplate it? Aren’t they cut from the same wanker cloth as the RFU - I mean, they wouldn’t allow football to be played at Twickenham. Of course, they’re happy to come begging when they need stadiums that hold more than a few thousand for a Rugby World Cup
-
Haha yep, though unless it’s a 50k seater revamp there’ll be some upset punters who miss out for a year or two. Of course, the logical thing to do would be to pay the Mackems to use the SOS for a couple of years. Like Wimbledon did with Palace. But we don’t live in logical world, and that would be unpopular with the hosts and the guests
-
It’s still a hefty chunk of change - and £200m would be conservative. It would take 50 years to pay for itself if it sold out, allowing for season tickets costing £500. It’s not my money like, on face value it doesn’t look worth it. But if PIF want to do it …

Partially because the bottom tier isn’t on a sharp incline. Was just thinking out loud tbh - the likelihood is that the ground cannot be extended in any meaningful sense.
-
Tbf, if an English player spent seven years in Spain and wasn’t capable of much more than ‘dos beers por favor’ he’d receive a fair bit of criticism.
-
Though, ironically, some of the Zulus probably were a smidge racist. Amongst other things.
-
Just thinking about this, extending the Gallowgate is likely the wrong idea in terms of constructability. A potential solution might actually be to demolish the current stand and rebuild it on a much steeper incline, and possibly include a structural tier above. Spurs’ huge south stand is on a very steep incline - something like 35deg. It might be possible to significantly increase the Gallowgate capacity that way, and of course enclose it with the west stand.

Newcastle United vs. Chelsea - 12/11/22 @ 5:30pm (Sky Sports)

Let’s be honest, Chelsea were always a shitheads club. No fucker liked them when they were a run down mess who’d won fewer major trophies than Preston NE when the PL breakaway occurred. Success has not rendered them more likeable. -
Gotcha, hadn’t seen that. That makes it even more difficult if that’s the case.
