Last I heard they had to bump him upto £1m per week to cover extra medical costs for his creams.

If we lose the three big players that most seem to think will be going alongside all the other smaller sales and contracts ending were going to have a massive transfer/wage budget right? Gordon ~65m? Livramento ~60m? Tonali ~75-85m? Willock ~10-15m? - Trippier, Krafth, Ramsdale wages Potentially Wissa as well. Might be missing some others. With how much work we need to do £200m in sales like this will be a big help. Cant see all three of those being sold but two of them for sure so still a big pot.

With Man City having been so dominant in the league over the years wouldn't a situation like that just put ONE club at an unfair advantage rather than a handful in terms of money made from being in CL? Same for other leagues with a dominant team.

I still think its really underestimated the impact losing him has had, pushing aside how much of cunt he is in this post. We were lucky to get him and replacing him with anything close to his level was close to impossible. Having him on the pitch did so much for us. Defenders feared him, creating space for others. Teams feared him and couldn't play as attacking, helping our defence. We always had a chance of winning with him in the 11 and the players will have known that. CUNT.

Anyone think he could do well playing off Woltemade? Not sure who's place he would take but maybe if Gordon goes play him on the left but closer to Nick. Think that would benefit both their games with the way Barnes loves a 1 2 and Nick can pick a pass. I'd rather we let Gordon go, have Osula cover LW to come off the bench for Barnes and then get a creative player in this team at RW or midfield, rather than look for a starting LW. With Barnes already here and having always done a good job in terms of goals which you cant really argue with, I feel we have far far more important positions to use the Gordon money on.

Looking at the player passing hasn't the ball already left his foot in that shot?

What makes them think we would be in pole position if Barca are also interested?

I'd be so excited to come back for next season if the fans did that. Raring to go, chomping at the bit, etc.

Yeh for the short time he was here he was unreal when he played, like you said his reading of the game was a few steps ahead.. Best CB we've had in my time, but obviously nowhere near the legend Fab is to us. -
After watching him today, we are definitely getting a new number 1 no question about it. And for god sake don't let that be Ramsdale.

Will Osula: Goal vs Man United nominated for PL Goal of the Season

His weaknesses can be worked on, it's not like he's lacking physically for the league like Woltemade for example. Hope we keep him, definitely has something about him. -
Almost a full XI, that would be some going. I'd like it but after Howe’s comment in the press conference? Or does he not have as much say on the matter as he used to?
