  1. https://www.youtube.com/SkySportsFootball/videos Look at their banner up the top. Most fashionable player from each of the big teams in the league.. Surely Isak for Newcastle needs to be added?
  2. Need to go back to being a nightmare to play against, pressing monsters. Look at Villa, their success is built upon Watkins, Rodgers, McGuin et al pressing like mad men, and going direct, vertical football.
  3. Some of my reasonings for Combined 11... GK Emi Martinez been fantastic, won the WC, Copa, etc.. Leader, excellent distribution and on pens. Shoe in. DF Reece James when fit is simply the best RB in the league. Cuti Romero like Emi won the WC + Copa, hard as nails, fast. Van De Ven big man mountain, super fast, together they were the best CB duo early last season before injuries. Lisandro Martinez like Cuti and Emi, won WC + Copa, excellent on the ball, can invert to midfield in build up. MF Bruno Fernandes like him or hate him has been putting up stupid creative numbers for years, if he played for a clinical team he'd be great. Caiceido was part of a Brighton duo with MacAllister who ran the midfield vs everyone year before last, embarrassed the likes of Arsenal and Liverpool. Great player. Bruno G, excellent player, can do it all. ST Cole 'Cold' Palmer, not much needs to be said, he was a top 5 player last season in the league. Isak is the 2nd best striker in the league after Haaland, wonderful player, akin to Thierry Henry. A.Gordon super fast, super tenacious, excellent winger.
  4. I really think if De Ligt goes to Man United, they'd put Martinez in at Left back and play the 3 of them. Martinez played left back a lot of Ajax and moved into the middle too, like Zinchenko has done for Arsenal. Inverted full back role. Luke Shaw can't be relied on anymore.
  5. I made a potential best 11 of the chasing pack. Might have jumped the gun on a couple , but lets see... What you think?
  6. What I understand about Chelsea is that as part of Boehly being allowed to take over the club for a cheap 2.5 B, they had to commit to investing another 1.7 B. They got a scam of a deal for Abramovich's shares. So Basically Boehly is spending all this money now securing talent and future proofing them for the next 7 years, once he reaches his 1.7 B investment, I doubt we see him putting any more in. Seems they went with 1.7 B on player transfers too, rather than a much needed stadium refurb or new build.
  7. they were.... not anymore.
  8. Get Summerville from Leeds instead of Raphinha. Cheaper (probably), younger (definitely) and way less wages. Might even be the better player too.
  9. How does this work? Are Newcastle in a squeeze up till 30th June and can spend after? or a whole summer of 0 net spend in store?
  10. Agreed. This was allowed for YEARS until they stopped it after getting spooked by City.
  11. Omari Hutchinson from Chelsea would be a good signing. They signed him on a free from Arsenal last year (or year before) and he's just had a storming season in the Championship for Ipswich. He's a right winger too. £20-25M I could see it happening as they need money and they are loaded on wingers right now. They are likely to sell Maatsen in the summer too so there is precedent of them selling their youth, and Lewis Hall, obviously.
  12. and? Newcastle can just compete in the Premier Leaguethen. Europe isn't needed.
  13. Bring the best of the Saudi players over now to play with him and push for top 4 next year. Saudi Pro League is a failed project, sell them on the cheap to Newcastle now.
