He will probably do well in Liverpool given how many chances they generate, but I don't think he will justify the price tag. This is something that I've actually thinking about for some time, when all the people started talking about him as though he is the best striker in the world and easily our best player. I still maintain that Bruno is our best player, so for this inflated price I don't mind selling Isak. It's just the behaviour around it that bothers me.

Anyway what I'm saying is, our strategy made sense: first try to get Isak replacement from EPL (Joao Pedro), we didn't succeed. Then we tried getting it from outside the EPL (Ekitike, Sesko), we didn't succeed. Now our targets shifted back to EPL, but what are essentially Wilson and not Isak replacements (Wissa, Larsen), and at this point of the window and the prices that are asked for them, I don't find it to be reasonable, and would rather have us go for a Wilson replacement outside of EPL, maybe at a club that actually be willing to sell.

I'd rather buy whoever is the best striker in Ligue 1 besides PSG, whoever that may be. Probably would cost a lot less.
