I used to work for a national company whose NE office happened to be in Sunderland, I worked out of the Leeds office. Occasionally I had to go to Sunderland to deal with stuff so I would catch the train to Newcastle and back so I could do a bit of work on my laptop, and get picked up from Newcastle and driven to Sunderland by one of their lot, rather than drive myself. One time, getting a lift back to Central, we were driving through Gateshead, I knew he was Sunderland. Coming over the brow of a hill SJP came into view, I said, knowingly, "Ah, look at that, the cathedral on the hill!" I honestly thought he was going to crash the car, went absolutely mental.
