Can't believe that from Pope. Missed the ball by a yard
-
Blimey, was this posted immediately after they scored? Get a life man
-
Decent half. Eze with a bit of quality which is making the difference
-
Neither of them would have been anywhere near the ball
-
Who do you have in mind?

We're doing fine

I've had enough of Merson to last me a lifetime. Gormless twat -
If we get a result then it's not an awful lineup
-
Handful of seagull nonces singing "Thunlin till I die" in a mostly empty stadium at the end there. Sad mackem bastards what they are
-
I think reality is optional now, basing your opinion on vibes is better
-
The Portuguese league is dog shit now though isn't it? It's a far cry from him taking Porto to the Champions League final and winning it
-
I don't think we'll ever get out of that position. The only certainty with managers or players is that they'll leave at some point. Can't blame them for wanting to move on to bigger and better. You'd like to think that even if those coming in are looking at the club as a stepping stone they'd at least be around for a few years though. I don't think it's worth worrying about too much, as long as they improve the club while they're here and we've a succession plan in place for when they do an Isak, get the best in that are available to us.

Nobody said it isn't a Howe team
-
Come on chaps. Let's kiss and make up
-
Eddie is still the man
-
Do you think he'd have asked about him? Or is it just not a concern and players just sign multi year contracts without a care in the world?
-
And Howe was part of the project they bought into. A large, impossible to ignore, vital part of it in fact
-
Absolutely no influence at all? It wasn't even a consideration? Who the manager is just doesn't cross the mind of a player making a move? Give ower
-
They signed for all of it, including Howe. Let's not make stuff up
-
It'd be 8 defeats on the spin. 9 including Barca away. You can't end a season like that and stay in the job
-
I'd be Howe out of that happened like
-
I don't listen to any podcasts. I feel like I'm winning
-
I feel like this is a rhetorical question, but since it doesn't support your argument for Wolter to be in the team I'm going to answer it anyways. Pressing is the best way to win the ball back. It puts the opposition under pressure and pressure causes mistakes. All top teams press, the better you are at it the higher up the pitch you can do it and the more effective the press is. Winning the ball back in high areas of the pitch is a massive benefit to both our attacking threat and defensive security
-
It's not that he doesn't press, just that he's not good at it. There's not much he's actually good at. Nice touch here and there. One nice pass per game. It's not much to build an attack around
