Jesus this needs elevating. Completely disproportional action by the club. At worst perhaps a warning that this isn't permitted although I'm not sure why.

Apologies if this has been covered, but the ticket office has just told me that members' tickets are not transferrable? is it therefore the case that members do transfer tickets for others to use, but strictly shouldn't?

What exactly is season ticket holder resale? Is that to enable ST holders first dabs at spare tickets?

Chelsea, Man City and Sheff Wed all filled the Leazes End

One of the best atmospheres I've experienced was Chelsea at home back in Div 2 when ourselves, them, Sheff Wed and Man City were challenging for promotion. I think a couple of Newcastle fans had been stabbed outside the Strawberry the season before and, for what seemed at least the last 20 minutes of the game, what felt like the whole ground were singing 'Chelsea must die'. Fortunately no one did, but Chelsea were chased all over the city with lads jumping over walls to get at them at Manors. Happy days......

I think out of everyone, those with memberships prior to the takeover have suffered most. There is now unlimited membership and they now have the same standing as a scouse twat who buys a membership and enters the ballot for Liverpool.

I'm sure a financial contribution relating to the nature of the development and its potential impacts could be agreed which could prove attractive to 'decision-makers' at NCC, alongside a Planning Committee full of Mags....

With any potential application on LP the club could/will be required to offer a weighty financial contribution via a S106 agreement to the Council (not constrained by FFP) for them to spend as they see fit eg 'upgrade' the remainder of the park or something that would represent a benefit of significance to help go some way to outweigh the harm a new ground will have.
