The sense of entitlement beggars belief!

I think a lot of people wouldn't mind the extra 24 hour wait to pick seat they want.
-
Let's say they didn't take any money up front, they draw the ballot, the people who come out of the ballot go to the usual seat map, select seat they want at price they want and the money is paid, or they decide no seat is acceptable, they do not pay any money, and their place on ballot is released for a second ballot.
-
Yeah I agree - those that come out of the ballot - simply go to the ticket selection stage where you pick seat.
-
Last season come the release to members/ST holders there was the 10am free for all, if you got through the walking footballer stage then you went on to select specific seat at specific price. Although granted that stage was not always straightforward due to the disappearing seat scenario. You would hope that they could tweak things, so that the people who came out of the ballot are then given a certain time when they can sign on and pick tickets via the stadium map - if you can find seat you want great, if you cannot then you do not have to buy one, and those unsold tickets are are released to a second ballot for other people to have a crack. Means there is a still a ballot process, and you get to pick a seat you like, at price you want to pay, or not as the case may be.

God I remember that, mid 80s - they used to setup a stall at the corner of the west stand (Milburn now) and the Gallowgate end, sort of where Bobby Robson statue is now. Mad when you think it about it, but good riddance to them. Gallowgate end back then was mental, especially the "corner" and the " scoreboard".

It used to be the very front block of the Leazes. Note sure if still the case TBH.
-
At least the club has listened and made an immediate adjustment - which is a step in the right direction. OK it is still far from perfect, but that is not to say they will not make further adjustments in time. They've dropped a bollock and are making moves to correct it.

I don't disagree...its just a bit sad it's going to price a lot of people out of it...
-
I can honestly see Liverpool, manure, spuds, etc being banded from 55 to 90....might be wrong but wouldn't be surprised
-
Be interesting to find out if the 44 price is for family area and cat 2...if the 44 is family area and the cat 2 tickets are even more expensive, then that is an insane amount
-
That's platinum for manure game...
-
Season tickets went up approximately 5% on average
-
So that's going to be at least 44!
-
So it's going to be quite a bit more for a category 1 now....the platinum was 58 according to info above....looks like that's now going to be 76!!!

Yeah, last season's method was better than the pile of shite they have come up with.
-
Would have made more sense if they drew the ballot - and the people that were successful then got a period where they could pick seat via the usual method, if they could not get the seat they wanted (based on location and cost), then they do not buy a ticket and somebody else who was not successful in the ballot gets a chance. Not sure if that would be possible with the ticketing software they have though.

This is mental man, people going into a ballot where they do not know how much it will cost them if successful. Also the £44 ones are presumably for Gallowgate/Leazes/corners - if Villa is £44 how much will say Liverpool be? £55?
