I'm In the Leazes, got to say I agree regards the drum - at first it was sort of getting on my tits a bit - but it definitely helped the atmosphere, as did their fans generally, but we kind of fed off the drum also. Amazing night.

If they replay that match then we all may as well just give the fuck up, currently a goal is scored and we now often have to wait seconds/minutes before we know if it is going to stand as a goal. That's one thing, but this is like - I get on the bus to go home and still don't know if the result in the game I just attended will stand. Utterly ridiculous.

They fucked up big time, there needs to be a proper process going forward to ensure the same type of error cannot happen again. In terms of spurs v lfc though it's gone now, done. If this was just about any other team in the world, we'd have, for the most part, just moved on from it. But rest assured the BBC, sky and an awful lot of sports journalists will just bang on and on about it.

They've been on the wrong end of a huge clusterf*ck, but honestly the noise been generated around it is nauseating, they are literally the only club who'd you'd expect to come out with that bullshit statement. If this goes down the road of replaying match and the like, then I think the backlash from other clubs and fans across the country would be monumental.

Aye I agree regarding a new stadium, it'll break my heart to leave SJP, I've been going since 1984 and stood in the west stand paddock as a kid, saw it transform massively in the 90s. However going to a new stadium gives us a chance to fix the demand for tickets issue, the atmosphere issue, potentially the access to ground issues, generate bigger revenues, all in one hit if they get it right. For me it has the be city centre though, or we loose a massive part of the club's identity, and the businesses in the city loose a huge amount of matchday money.

Thought it was flat yesterday. I know some people drove who usually get bus because there were strikes, although arriva buses still running, go northeast were not. So I guess there were a number of people who usually have a few pre match pints who didn't yesterday, some people are more boisterous after a few beers I guess. That may or may not have been a factor yesterday, but I agree that in general something needs to be done to help improve atmosphere. On the turnstile thing I go in early - about 45 mins before KO turnstiles 19-22 in leazes and its fine. The leazes/East stand corner looks like carnage though.

Sorry, yeah I think you are correct and it is Go Northeast - as far as I can tell other Nexus companies are OK. Not sure which company runs which services though - I think the 21 for example is run by Go Northeast.

For anyone using buses or trains to get to match tomorrow - there aren't any - industrial action, likewise for CL game on Wed. Metro OK as for as I know.
