I remember down the quayside years ago they had these random dodgy vans with, usually, a bit of a wide boy salesman, offering mystery boxes for a set fee of like £10. What's inside COULD be worth more, and they had examples on show, or it could be just junk, you had no say in what one you got. This shambles reminds me of that

I was more bothered about the "take it or leave it "attitude, aye fair enough the tickets shouldn't have been available, hardly my fault. -

I'm turning into a right old moaning sod Booked tickets for 5th August as soon as they were released, Rooftops was an option All good I thought, but after logging on today I see they have cancelled these and re allocated me two tickets in the GWC, no courtesy email, no option to move, nowt. So I rang them and lass on phone said "well you should know you aren't eligible to buy seats there" hahah wtf I asked why was there no email or contact, you like just out of courtesy to advise. "no idea as it was done by the manger, I can cancel the tickets if you want" FFS, aye I'm a right moaning fkr these days -

? https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-tyne-66273898 The hearse was left on the pitch following the incident By Chris Baynes BBC News A Gateshead FC match has been called off in chaos after a funeral hearse and a car were driven onto the pitch. The National League club's friendly against Dunston was abandoned at half-time amid extraordinary scenes which stunned watching supporters. Footage posted on social media showed the vehicles being driven in circles in the centre of the pitch. Two men - who witnesses said were masked - then climbed out of the hearse and into the car and left the ground. Gateshead fan Archie Clark told the BBC the intruders "apparently barged through the gate from the car park" then broke through the railings along the edge of the pitch. He said posters were thrown out of the car's window in an apparent protest before "two people in ski masks" jumped out of the hearse and into the silver car and drove off. Matty Hewitt, a football writer at the Newcastle Chronicle, said Gateshead International Stadium was evacuated as a police helicopter circled overhead following the incident. "Two cars driven onto the pitch with masked men getting out and leaving a hearse on the pitch," he tweeted, describing it as a "terrifying experience with plenty of children about". Gateshead FC said: "Due to an incident on the pitch occurring shortly after half time, tonight's match has been abandoned by the referee." The BBC has contacted Northumbria Police for further information

And what use is that if he can only produce this magical 90 minutes two or three times a season due to fitness levels?

I think Gordon is/was ASM's replacement, we just didn't have the chance to sell him earlier. Barnes is a welcome addition to the squad depth. ??
-
Will ASM be remembered the same way the likes of Ginola and Laurent Robert are Or more the the way of Scott Sellars and Ruel Fox ?♂️

ASM is great and is as exciting as anyone out there, on his day, it's just that day isn't as often as what we need now. I wish well when he leaves, and I am excited to see how his replacement gets on.
