At least nexus is unaffected by the weather

Was tempted but even hartlepool wouldn't have played him

Would be like us debating if colback, mcclenn, Hamilton or bassedas were our best

Very naive to think a betting addict would suddenly stop betting the second he arrives in a country with about 1000 legal betting sites mind. Would be very surprised if those bets didnt include us to be honest

I wasnt aware he gave them all away for free on loan. You win

Suppose when your point is bollocks you change the goalposts

Letting a bloke go abroad after a huge falling out is totally different to letting Phillips go on loan to a direct rival in the same league for free and possibly a % of wages

The Shields Gazette can rarely spell an article correctly, i wouldnt trust them as a source

He isnt on that now though so we have already saved a good £60000 a week in the 2 mins since your post

Its not as bad as Pacqueta's betting in my eyes thats for sure. I mean having £50 on your team to win shouldnt really make you try harder than you would anyway

This is why I hesitated before commenting, you can't say anything without a pathetic 'you are pro ashley' dig. The accounts are readily available and easy to read. Try it, it's not hard to see

Can we not just have a two massive signs either side of the Milburn carparks saying St James' Park powered/brought to you by Saudia or something? I mean fair enough if we knock down and redo the Saudia East Stand of something

Problem is a lot of fans are in sunderland/Boldon etc so need to change metros there and back or mix bus/metros so a fair few just drive and use the industrial estate or low sima estate neither of which are designed for any sort of traffic. Will definitely need better bus services too with a small space in Newcastle Road bus stop in front of McDonalds and nigh on nowt the other side on Jarra Road for people to use. Not sure how the escape that situation other than some form of park and ride scheme which just adds another parking issue elsewhere as cant think of anywhere to dump that. I know a few ST holders near me that just walk the 2 miles or so then have a few in Tams Bar after til it dies down but they are getting on a bit now. Probably should have went with Temple Park idea years ago in hindsight but who knows if any new owner has that appetite to progress sufficiently

The setup is great to be fair, from the first team to girls and kids its all been improved and going well. Nice new stand and very well run outside of matchdays with parties, meals etc. The traffic issue will be a massive problem should they ever get that high and look into further expansion you would assume, the new neighbours already going mad at parking and getting out on matchdays as it is. That whole estate is a disaster getting out of in rush hour let alone match days with only one road through it so more people would be fun. Was talk of buying the factory behind the goal, would give another decent stand and plenty parking but the main stand side could struggle to improve with the metro line/necessary matchday facilities being there. Guess thats a long way down the line now mind

Huge blow, difficult to imagine anyone with the finances that will have his passion and drive to get the club where he wanted.
-
I mean we did push through the Ben Arfa purchase then added Cabaye, Ba, Marveaux, Obertan, Santon & Cisse all within 12 months. The fees and wages alone on the back of a season of big losses in the Championship mean 'just fucking evaporated' is rubbish.
-
For a self confessed workaholic it would be a huge shock for him to want that job any time soon, especially given the trajectory of us as a club at the minute. Bailey being Bailey basically
-
Big blow for them but an opportunity he cant really turn down at the end of the day. Big appointment coming up for Gateshead, dont envy them finding someone to try and keep the momentum going. Sure a lot of Shields fans werent too happy with Phillips mind, didnt really play good football.

Potentially could be top if/when he comes in, would be glorious to see him Bruce that team out of the playoffs from there

Our far classier neighbours strike again

Was in reply to Sid asking who goes to the match like that

Rueben's can't do much with the structural nightmare of building on top of a metro station though
