  1. Those types of run ups sxare the crap out of me....but GET IN!!
  2. What is it with our players sitting on their arse?!
  3. Hate to say it, looked like he moved his arm toward the ball. At least from one angle....they keep showing the shit one though. ....and not a pen for Joe
  4. Twice now the commentator has called Gordon, Woltemade. It's not like there's any difference between them is there?!
  5. So the most composed player is a 19 year old. We've looked shocked from the off.

    Kevin Keegan

Remember him joining us, probably the season after I first went to a match. You could have a caricature outline of just his (70s/80s) hair and chin and know exactly who it is. Given us great memories as a player, manager and contestant (Superstars as mentioned above….did he do it a lot or do I just remember it so well it seems he did it loads?) Best to him and his family.
  7. I thought they looked a bit soft against Man U, knocked off the ball a bit and not getting the tackles in as much I thought they would. Maybe I just expected them to be more physical being a Leeds team. I think this one is far more about which version of NUFC turns up tonight. We need a good attitude from throughout.

    Joe Willock

Only just saw this on the BBC website then headed over here to see what was being said. I admit my first impression was that it must be some utter tool from our fan base but hadn’t thought through enough to think about someone losing a bet and I’m far too out of touch to understand the point of producing bots to send out hideous racist bile. I knew the Games Gone….seems the Worlds Gone too.

    Nick Woltemade

Probably a good thing to be able to have Big Nick on the bench for a while isn’t it? Wissa needs to get a run after a long period out injured and Nick has played way more minutes than a lad coming from the slower pace of the Bundasliga probably should have. I’ve no concerns about Nick, clear talent. Just about how we coach and develop him…and I don’t have concerns there either with Eddie’s success with lots of our players.
  10. Touches 89 Unsuccessful touches 2 work to do then

    Nick Woltemade

Surely the future is Wolte playing deeper with Wissa running off him. To the point it should be reflected in our future transfer policy - get another striker in and use Wolte for his natural attributes.
  12. It’s looks so good for the future that we’ve got a nineteen year old midfielder, playing at right back, that is so composed on the ball and finds team mates with simple, early passes. Especially when the rest of our midfield with older and more experienced players has been struggling to do just that.
  13. When we don’t have a manager like Bruce or Joe Kinnear in the role it’s a lot easier for me to sit comfortably and see what the manager can do to get us out of a poor run. When we’ve got a good manager in a poor run of form I look around and see which managers are available and would be a realistic option. I don’t see any at the moment so I’m quite happy to give a young manager the room to improve. With that said, I’m also happy if we have a club management team that are savvy and ruthless enough to be looking at options, even if and when things are going well, so that if changes need to be made at some point in the future the club isn’t left floundering and flapping - the same goes for identifying and selling players at, as near as possible, the right time. TLDR - I’m fine with Eddie but there are few Messiahs in football.
  14. I’ve got to admit I’m not convinced by him. I understand the lack of confidence and that may change, I’d like to see him copy some more of Gordon’s game (when he’s doing a good job) and simply using his pace to distress the defenders and draw a foul. Cause them grief and don’t panic, let them do that. That’s confidence though I suppose. What does worry me more is his general support play. So many times I watch him go to help his full back only to decide to stand right next to him rather than find space and therefore an option, then he manages to just get in the way as his team mate tries to pass to someone who is in space. In fairness, I think the team has an issue generally with supporting team mates who need an outlet. Throw-ins have far too often gone straight to the opposition and all too often it seems we’re too static …. but now I’m just starting to ramble on. He’s ours now so hopefully with a bit more coaching, experience with the team and a goal off his arse or something things will click for him. I just want to be wrong about him.
  15. Ref looked out of his depth. Don’t think it was a red, do think it should have been a pen earlier. Either way, ref was shit.
  16. Is Joelinton fit? I’m sorry, still not convinced by Ramsey….shit. Just heard it’s Willock.
