At the six minutes mark he shows the Botman number 4 (European/cup numbers) shirt and the number 4 looks wonky with the black and white stripes behind it. On the European kit with a full white background it doesn’t make a difference but on the black and white stripes it looks messed up.

You don’t need to wear the white patch in domestic cup competitions, just the red numbers. I think one of the reasons maybe that the cup numbers don’t line up correctly on the black and white stripes. Are we wearing our cup numbers like the other English clubs in uefa competitions or are we using the stranded prem numbers?

I just wish the club would use a smaller neater box for the numbers to go in like they did in the old 60s and 70s shirts. The old ones had black and white stripes around the shoulders which look better in my opinion.

I’d love to have a look through some of them old kits with the white gloves on. ?

One indication that we would be in elite club status as if they offer us the long sleeve shirts option like Real, Man U, Arsenal. The Electric Blue 98/99 was beautiful also loved the brown ale white one with bottle green colour on the sleeves. Really wish someone on DH gate would release these two shirts in the future. ❤️?

Also did you get the name and number printed on the back of the repo? And if so, is it a felt like material or vinyl plastic style?(if my memory still correct back in the day on the original ones, they were like it felt material.) do you think this 96 Nufc football shirt on eBay is a repo or an original? (The numbers on the back looks like fakes but I could be wrong.) if it is a repo I really wish I could find the supplier to get the shirt with a more correct club badge. Yeah it’s The White Stripes they look too wide. I’ve had a look online I can’t find any 96 shirt with the correct looking badge, it’s a real shame because everything else on the shirt is perfect. The shirt holds a special place in my heart, It was my first ever Newcastle united kit as a kid. Would love to own it again, even if it’s a repo.

Does anyone know where to buy the Newcastle United 1996 grandad collar(Repo) home & away (short sleeve & long sleeve)? I found some online, but the club crest is messed up. i’ve seen some fans in the United States wearing the shirt with the correct badge.
