Barnes is the only one who knows how to play with Woltemade. As you can see from the assist yesterday. He runs in behind and stays close with wolte and that intelligence makes him a constant threat and he almost guarantees goals. Gordon on the hand goes too deep leaving wolte isolated.

I think his all round play will be better when he has better wingers and a no.10 with him. Barnes does alot if runs through the middle. I hope Howe tries a 4231 with Barnes as a 10 with wolte.

Barnes is just incredible. His output in scoring goals is levels above Gordon.

Barnes will be rewarded for such a great cameo with the bench spot at leeds. Baffling why Howe doesn't see it to play Barnes on the left and he insists on trusting Gordon. Barnes deserves a run of games on the left atleast. He's so dangerous and direct. Creating so many chances. He makes the whole team just better.

With Barnes we are infinitely more dangerous. He's the only one who can truly unlock a defence. He's such a threat.
