'Divert funds' - I've been around a lot of deals and not once have I ever heard a club or manager say they cant divert funds at this stage

Can we put on record my opinion shifted in July 2023

This has never been about what was best for the club. We didn't fly to Milan as Eddie didn't want people to see us train, this wasn't for the players or the club. This was all the red flags anybody should have needed. We have a small time outlook by having a buffer in the backroom that is his nephew. Any other club we would be laughing at the manager for this.

should never have been purchased and he was bought due to some of his affiliations. Should have saved the wages and tagged them on to Tosin's offer or to actually get the defender we wanted. As somebody said above, his team at the time seemed all but content to let their injury prone defender go out of contract and leave for free. He wasnt in the market we should be shopping from. None of this is his fault and I will always back him when he plays
