Miguel Almirón (now playing for Atlanta United)
JigsawGoesToPieces replied to Deuce's topic in Football
So if we paid £21m for him on a 5 1/2 year contract in Jan 19, but he signed a new 3 1/2 contract in Feb 23 and were getting £10m back for him have we actually nearly broke even with him in terms of FFP 🤣 Edit so original contract was omortisised at £3.8m per year so we had paid £15.2m we then signed a new contract which then spread the remainder of the £4.8m over another 3 1/2 years which is £1.3m a year so we have paid a further £2.6m of him, £17.7m in total plus salary. That how it works? -

If we get anything over £10m id sell Lloyd Kelly, pure FFP profit. Unfortunately Eddie likes his PL experience/home grown player so he will probably stay

The way we played today almost as if we thought we would win before we turned up -

Well done Bournemouth absolutely fantastic performance by them and well deserved win Absolutely disguisting performance from us, looked like we didnt give a shite from the first whistle. Full backs got mauled, both were terrible. Brazilians were poor, Joelinton would rather have a fight than play football. Passing was sloppy and lazy by everyone. Gordon and Murphy were wasteful, Isak anonymous Subs did nothing, Schar was pretty awful when he came on. Nobody did better than a 4/10 To be a really top manager you need to know when to rotate, to be able to change the game with tactics and subs, today we looked tired and thats on Howe imo, we cant keep playing the same 11 week in week out, that was the reason we had so many injuries in previous seasons. -

Shocking all round today, that includes Howe who seems incapable of rotating or making subs to change the game. -

The full backs have been awful today been pulled all over the place. Joelinton been a headless chicken who just wants to kick and fight everyone Isak been isolated due to Gordon and Murphy being wasteful. Even Bruno and Tonali not really played well and been sloppy with the ball Just absolutely shite -

That because he's usually in pieces? -
Difficult to make too mant comparisons with Spurs, obviously being in London will play a big part in them getting things like big concerts, NFL etc with them having better transport links including Heathrow, Gatwick, Stanstead and London City airports. We get the egg chasers most years anyway for the magic weekend, how much do we make from those three days?

Isak must be running out of space for those MOTM awards, probably using them as a bog roll holder now -

Wolves still look decent on the break, if the defenders didn't go MIA for Isak's two goals they might have given us a game
