You know that's isn't what I'm suggesting though. He seems like a top man and excellent pro. I'm not suggesting for a second that he'd agitate for a move but he definitely sees his future winning stuff and playing on the biggest stage. There's so much chat about him and his future that his head is bound to be turned. He doesn't owe us anything. I'll be gutted when/if we lose him but I'm long enough in the tooth to know it's going to happen. Whoever the regime have been, we've always sold top players. It hasn't happened in a while because we haven't had anybody that's been coveted. We have now. Phew, knackered after writing that. π

That's fair but it's still not winning anything. I hope and pray we beat Liverpool but it's unlikely going on current form. It's also going to be very tough to make 5th when a fair few of our squad look dead on their feet.
-
Yes, deserves. Don't you think he deserves to play top level football regularly? Or should we expect him to tread water with us while we take years to be able to compete? Mental.
-
I get all that but we just wouldn't make him see out a contract if he hinted at all that we weren't meeting his ambitions. I'm not saying he has but he knows is own worth and talent. He'll want to win trophies, play Champions league regularly and we're nowhere near offering him that. Wouldn't blame Isak at all. It's a short career.
-
Give over man. Do you really think he's gonna be here for the next 5 years? Absolutely no way. We can't give him what he needs and deserves. If we weren't hampered by PSR then maybe we could tempt him to stay. He's miles too good for us presently. Nothing to do with a loser mentality, it's football. π€¦ββοΈ

If he scores the goals that win us a cup I'd thank him for his brilliance and take Β£100 million for him. JUST NOT TO FKN ARSENAL...PLEASE. He's destined to play for a European giant, no question.
-
No, probably not. It's still a bit raw and I'm lashing out.
-
Career defining even. I doubt he'll miss a chance that easy again. I feel for the lad and he's had his moments for us but he looks shot of all confidence now. We won't get any decent money for him though so here he'll stay.
-
Fair enough Kid, he was woeful then. Bog standard, poor, inept, ineffectual, shite. Not good enough to take us forward.
-
He was terrible though. The missed header is unforgivable. Schar's face said it all. Cost us the game, without doubt.
-
Swiss isn't he? π Sorry, I'm still fucked off after today.
-
Felt like the whole ground was signing mate. Great for our deaf fans like. π
-
Absolutely mental head loss. He seems like an intelligent lad so I'm guessing he's gonna be gutted about letting everyone down. Just can't understand what went through his head. We just can't have nice things can we?
-
I don't think I've seen any team give the ball away so cheaply, ever. It's starting to be very frustrating. Mostly completely needlessly.
-
Aye, and if my auntie had a cock she'd be my uncle. We were pretty awful most of the game and let an average Brighton beat us again in our own backyard. We can make excuses but we didn't deserve anything. Our play is slow and ponderous. It's grim viewing.
-
Honestly it's like Arsenal are the only team we truly lift ourselves for. We're still miles away from being consistently good. Brighton will probably win a trophy before we win 1 again. Fkn awful again at home man. Sick of it. 50 years and counting watching Newcastle and nothing ever changes. Embarrassing.
-
Weak as piss as per. Never miss an opportunity to disappoint. Predictable.
-
Stupid as fuck.
-
Welbeck winner incoming π€¦
-
Fuck off Willock man. How many sitters can he miss? Absolutely woeful that.
-
Rotten start to this half man. At least we've tried to change it because a 2nd Brighton goal feels inevitable here.
-
That's a fair point π
-
Bruno for Miley 2nd half. The young lad hasn't done anything wrong but the experience of Bruno will make a difference hopefully.
