Ramseeeeey. Chuffed for the lad
-
2 bookings for dives so far. Shameless like.
-
Aye.
-
We all saw that coming right?
-
This is all too familiar like. Can we slow things down with a sub, get some fresh legs and try to reset/gain a bit of composure?
-
Chow chow chow chow CHOW! Get in!
-
Are you gonna show us the lines or the automated visualization then...? Edit: there we gan, offside by a foreheed whisker
-
We look pretty good like but I do wonder where the goal comes from. Maybe a CB from corner? Not sure what Gordon adds in this setup.
-
Gordon you lazy cunt
-
Willock and Elanga controlling that right flank and look our best players. Feels weird to say but I'll take it
-
We're playing quite high for a team with a back four of OAPs
-
Can these cunts on comms stop calling Thiaw Teeowww
-
Alreet Elanga, nice intent.

And we were decent away to PSG the other week. You're right it likely won't be easy, but not because of the state of the opposition. I believe it likely won't be easy to watch neither. Thought Eddie was fantastic and well-measured in the presser but there was a heavy emphasis on our woes at the back and being leaky. Think we'll be set up very defensively and possibly deep, mostly aiming to counter. That does not always make for poor viewing but I have a feeling. I'd be happy of a result regardless of performance for this one which goes against nature for me but tis where we are.

Doctor Tottenham vs Doctor Newcastle. One for the ages.

Unfortunately I fear that you're right. I'd wish that Eddie gets til the end of the season and we'll re-assess. That said, outside of big competition games there's nowt that stirs emotion like the derby. If the smelly mackems come up here and we perform similarly to that Brentford game it could be curtains. Obviously also depends on prior results as this is a crazy period of meaningful & difficult games. We might be out the FA Cup and UCL progression is not guaranteed with our current form. That's alongside City, Everton, Manure and Chelsea in the league. Only Everton at home. I don't envy Howe one bit. If we come out the other side smelling of roses I'll be more than impressed but I'd love to see it.

I read into this differently but obviously now we're into the land of interpretation. I believe that his agent going so public and willing to speak out about it is more of a sign that he will push to go. I also believe he's not wanting to tarnish himself like Isak, especially after us putting up with the ban, and that's why it's happening now as preparation. All opinion of course.

I mean sure there's potential to improve and it likely could happen if he wasn't blowing out his arse after 90 mins every 3 days. But not being in a hurry to sell is not really in our ballpark. If the player wants out he's not going to be motivated to play well/improve. Considering his agent is on Sky talking about his next destination, it'd be silly to think Tonali had no input on this. Think it's best for everyone to sell for max value and reinvest in a competent 6.

Isn't it the only remaining option til Miley is fit? Trips at RB is practically career suicide at this point for Eddie. I guess there's always Thiaw shifted out there...
-
That's it, I've decided! I'm joining Miggy's reality until 10/02/2026 at 21:30 (give or take). We're gonna batter these lot, go on a run and finish 5th and win the CL.

Surely if Howe felt strongly about getting cover in they'd have done so? He's said him and Wilson are on the same page when the window was open.
-
Totally agreed. I said the same earlier in the season for cups. We can't give full throttle to all competitions, we simply don't have the roster for it.

You're probs being flippant but tbh might be a bit disrespectful. They're 7th on merit like. Their coach and/or backroom seem exceptional. They sell their best players and get better. Fair play. We are shite and not value for 7th and that showed today.
