Maybe Howe has just told him that as he's moving on, he'll be looking to play others ahead of him from now and he'll only be used if its absolutely needs must. Gordon seemed quite pally and chatty with players and staff pre and post match yesterday.

We'd still finish above Sunderland and whilst the Conference League would be nice (from a fan perspective) and likely another trophy, qualifying for it hampers out transfer kitty. Stupidly, we have more to spend this summer if we don't qualify for the ECL. Would be good to have a right good go at the transfer window and a proper rebuild with more £ now we have a DoF in place.

Always thought he's a bit erratic and chaotic in his play so I didn't really fancy him 1-on-1 for his first goal. Looks to have matured a bit and he steadied and composed himself well for the finish.
