Think this is a great move - for us and for him. In the positions he can play at the back we've got: Hall, Targett Botman, Schar, Burn, Lascelles and Kraft Considering we'll be bringing in another CB in the summer, keeping Kelly would be a bit daft.

Don't think DCL would come tbh. Looking for a big contract and to play every game. He'd be a good signing tbh, if he was happy being on the bench and playing cup games, but I can't see him wanting to do that. He'd be better off at Fulham or somewhere like that.

Think it's so high because during the 90s they really fucked things up for us, and they dominated for so long so they're our rivals. They're also at a similar level now (we're better though obvs), so it makes sense. From the sounds of that BDB quiz he's a bit of a lad. Maybe he's turning up late to training or whatever and Howe doesn't want to reward that? That's the only thing I think it could be, because it is weird. Even if he's gash, putting him on once Isak has a hattrick saves Isak's/Gordon's legs for half an hour, which at this point of the season is important.

He's just knackered having play non-stop for 2 years. He either needs to adapt his game for this season, or he needs a rest. But knowing him, there's no way he'd accept a rest, and Howe won't drop him.
