  1. Whilst I’d prefer jt if the tweet showed some goals against you lot, I don’t think there’s a lot wrong with the majority of those tackles. Some saying it’s a compilation of horror challenges is very soft.

Zero local lads get minutes for us now. Rigg is the most likely of the bunch to get on the pitch if anyone.

Was always going to be the case.

    Zero chance on Gallagher.

We’ve been out of the premier league for nearly a decade prior to this season, and all promoted clubs have gone back down the last 2 seasons. For ourselves, results are all that matter. It probably is different for teams aiming to be in and around the champions league places.

That part in bold is all that matters ultimately. You can look good or entertaining all you want, but if you’re not getting the results then it’s all for nothing in the end really.

Thing is, that requires Leeds, Burnley & Wolves to do a big upturn in form. Leeds have lost 5 of their last 6 - some of them games were winnable too and have a nightmare set of fixtures coming up. Burnley have lost the last 3 but have some winnable home games coming up. The problem is that they just seem so toothless going forward. Wouldn’t surprise me if they lose their next 3 (Brentford away, Palace home, you lot away). Wolves are done. They’ve already played the 3 promoted sides, got beat every game, and have 2 points from 12.

We have around 6 or so who have had first team experience leaving. Although some will only miss 3 league games at most - they’re spread out between 5 countries, so it’ll be a staggered return throughout. Those 3 games will be very tough though. The African players likely leave after that gameweek. Usually been the case for prem players previously leaving for it.

That’s changed in recent years, probably due to the fact we’ve been in the same division as them more often than not the past decade.
  10. There’s zero chance you’re in a relegation battle. Your home form is too good.

That’s completely wrong mind. We go into nearly every game as underdogs. It’ll be the same for the derby too. Good result last night. Did what we had to do against the best team in the league - keep it physical, go direct, look to bully them, and take the chances when they come. Clinical stuff. We’re halfway to the survival target after 11 games. Just keep looking to pick up results whilst the bottom 6 continue to struggle.

I might be well off here, but isn’t it based on club accounts, not the season as a whole? The most recent accounts only go to 30 July 2024, so the accounts where there’s roughly a £44m loss to play with goes up to 30 July 2025 (these are due April 2026) - this will include the prem money of £100m+, Jobe sale of £30m or so & Watson sale of £10m. As for expenses, it’ll only include incoming transfers of up to 30 July 2025? This loan taken out could well be for more January reinforcements, no one really knows to be fair.

Do loans count as income for PSR purposes?

We’ve also missed our fair share of sitters too mind, and had a keeper howler that gave Villa their goal v us. The luck in the games hasn’t just been one way.

Giving you some feedback on the list of Sunderland players as a Sunderland fan. Calm yourself mate. X

So, of those: Blondy & Abdullahi don’t have a senior league appearance, they’re 4th/5th choice in their positions. Masuaku isn’t very good at defending. Dropped after Man U away. Diarra is injured till AFCON starts. Adingra rarely plays many minutes. Traore is a rotational winger who has had a poor game v Wolves and an okay game v Chelsea. That leaves Sadiki, Talbi & Reinildo who we will definitely miss, but Reinildo won’t be gone too long because Mozambique won’t get far in the competition. Oh, and someone asked on here that these players wouldn’t be there by the time the derby comes around, but I’ve seen it’s after game week 16 where most prem players leave for the competition, so that’s just after the derby I think.

There’s only 2 Sunderland fans posting on here nowadays and you’re very angry towards the other one, who else could it be?
