Apology accepted. You showed class, and that deserves my respect. Yes, I'm a Woltemade fan, but I really like Toon a lot. Otherwise, I wouldn't have bought the jersey. Ever since I played in a grass-court tennis tournament in England in 2014 and met the people there, I've liked the people here. Through Nick, I then had the opportunity to support Toon. I had looked into the club. Then there was the atmosphere at SJP, the amazing fans. That's how I ended up here.

That's exactly what I wrote. All my statements refer only to this season, even if Yorkie might perceive it differently. I like Eddie, and I also like Toon – it's my favorite club in the Premier League. Because the fans have impressed me – with the exception of the admin, Yorkie. I respect Eddie's achievements for the club in recent years. But this season – and this is the only one I can judge – he stubbornly clung to an unsuccessful system. There's no longer an Isaak who fit into that concept. And that's Eddie's big mistake: he simply doesn't react. And surely it's still permissible for me, as a Wolte fan, to say that the two of them probably aren't a good fit, without wanting to diminish Eddie's performance up to the previous season. I find the way Yorkie expresses himself to me appalling. He reads what he wants to read. That's why I dislike Yorkie, just as he dislikes me. If I thought Yorkie represented the average Toon fan, I would have left already. But I know there are a lot of nice people here who respect other opinions without being offensive. At least, that's how I perceive Yorkie's comments to me. Just to reiterate for everyone: My criticism only applies to this season. Eddie did a fantastic job before that.

Howe and Wolte are a bad match. Nick should leave the club if Eddie remains the coach. He's too good to be on the bench. Furthermore, he'll ruin his national team career if he continues to get too little playing time under Howe.
-
That won't happen under Howe. Eddie is resistant to learning and clings to his unsuccessful concept.
-
Wolte and Bruno are the only players on our team who can play such brilliant passes.
-
Very well said. 100% agreement.
-
I can hardly believe how some people here in the forum are questioning Nick's quality. Reading some of the derogatory comments, you'd think a blind, one-legged, old man was on the pitch. I hope Wolte gets the chance to prove these comments wrong at another club or with a different coach at Toon. If he then scores 20 goals and assists, he'll have silenced these so-called experts.

I don't like Man City, but they'll win their rescheduled game against Hammers and then be ahead of Arsenal due to their superior goal difference. Unlike Arsenal, however, Man City won't chicken out and won't relinquish their lead.
-
You're right, thank you for the correction.
-
Yes, I got that mixed up. Wolte was the top scorer. But for me, Nick was also the MVP of the tournament. Since England won the title, Gordon then became MVP.
-
I wrote several weeks ago that Man City would still win the title. Arsenal have squandered their big lead. Arteta will once again fail to win the Premier League. The eternally unfulfilling manager.
-
Bayern beat Stuttgart 4-2 and are champions for the 35th time.
-
That may be true. But in any case, it's definitely brought Nick's form down. For me, Wolte's place is in attack. I'm willing to accept that others will have to cover his defensive duties. If a counter-attack then develops, he's available for a pass. Unlike some other players, he's capable of playing accurate passes and possesses good game intelligence.
-
For the first three months, Nick played as a center forward. Then Eddie switched him to a more defensive role. And that, in my opinion, was the mistake. The Premier League is more physical and faster. Nick needs to work hard to adapt to this. His physical attributes aren't such that he'll become a fast player. In my opinion, Nick has no business being in the final third of the pitch. I'd even forbid him from playing there. His territory is the opponent's half. Defensively, Wolte isn't effective anyway. Other players have to cover that for him. Because of his slowness, he's unavailable for counter-attacks and is then missed up front. But Eddie tried to reshape him, and it backfired. I'm still convinced that if he's used up front, he's a very good player.
-
Yes, and Nick performed out of this world. Unfortunately, that won't happen under Howe. He's stubbornly clinging to his unsuccessful system.
-
Yes, that's how it was. Eddie gave up on Nick, so there won't be any change.

Well, at least no one can make Nick the scapegoat here. He's hardly playing anymore. -
Well, at least no one can make Nick the scapegoat here. He's hardly playing anymore. He'll also lose his place in the national team's attack. Without sufficient playing time at his club, he'll just be sitting on the bench. I don't understand how a player who performed brilliantly for Stuttgart in the first half of 2025, was the best player of the tournament at the U21 World Cup, and shined during his first three months at TOON, can decline so drastically. I largely blame Eddie for this. I don't know what he wanted to turn Nick into. False 9, 10, defensive midfielder? In any case, Woltemade's form has been completely ruined. And instead of using him as a center forward again at the end of a disastrous season, he's left on the bench. Disgusting!

After the first half of the season, I never would have imagined that Osula or Elanga would be in the starting eleven instead of Woltemade. It's a topsy-turvy world to me.

I've given up hope by now. Eddie probably has a different plan. -
I like him as a person. He's so likeable. And very intelligent.
-
Yes, that's right. For me, the best teams right now are PSG and Bayern. Arsenal played a great group stage, but their form is trending downwards. You can see that in the Premier League too. I now believe that Manchester City will even win the title.
-
I only saw his games with Bayern and they were great. Even in the Champions League. I think Diaz gives much more to his team than Gordon. Sure, Gordon has brilliant moments too, but Diaz plays much more for the team, in my opinion.
-
That's true. But he's already recouped his investment through his status as a fan favorite. He was definitely worth the 100 million. Look at Isak, he's young, but so far he's been a complete flop at the Reds. Even with the injury. The guy's just bad.
-
I didn't see his games at Toon that led to such a high transfer fee. I only saw him this season in a Reds shirt, again for 45 minutes today. Isak is so bad, it's hard to put into words. Even with the serious injury he had at the start of the season. You can't even see any hints that he could be a top striker. It's awful to watch him play.
