The Shearer and Cole songs are boring out of date and pointless - who cares if Shearer is sad. Bit like us singing about sunderland when we aren’t playing them. My favourite though was “you’re only here to see United “ Yes that’s right we were.

On the flip side, on the Metro afterwards someone was playing the ‘Tequila’ song. The loud Osula that came at the appropriate time made everyone smile, not just match goers.

Also goes to show that the younger supporters aren’t necessarily the best for atmosphere.

On the bus in last night 2 lads were saying they were going to leave on 65 minutes if we were losing. When the team was announced they agreed that there was no point in going as we would lose. Hope they left early (never to return) and missed the winner. Spectators NOT Supporters.

Maybe we just need A Bruno on the pitch even if they are on the other team - how about a deed poll name change for one of our lot until the real one is back?

Good idea for someone at back post for corners and crosses - we never seem to have anyone there allowing the opposition to break upfield on too many occasions.

Burn was dominated by a bang average forward who was still better than any of our alleged ones.

Watching full game after being there yesterday. Apart from the awful officiating it has just cemented for me that Danny Murphy hasn’t got a clue. Another rubbish BBC mainstay. Hates us as well.

There was always that rivalry between the Corner and the Scoreboard pre-all seater.

Sing in the Leazes / Corner etc. is a great throw back to the 70s and 80s when going to matches was way better.

Spectators boo, Supporters don’t. That said it doesn’t stop anyone showing displeasure on team or individual performances. If someone who gets paid more in a week than I do in a year can’t be arsed or isn’t capable of basic football skills then I will shout it out. If the team play badly I just leave on the final whistle muttering under my breath (or sometimes louder). Funnily by the time I get home or the next morning perspective tells me it’s been a lot worse in the past.

I was in the Leazes and hardly heard the Brentford fans apart from a few bits. The Leazes was its usual mix of a few patches of singing and large areas of apathy. Doesn’t help that the singing is rarely joined up around the ground but I don’t think TV is the best medium for judging the atmosphere.

That said, there was a fair few left at 3-0. Despite being a middle aged man I stayed and sang to the end.

And our midfield don’t either don’t anticipate or watch the opposition take the ball away from them - been happening for a while now. Our lack of bite is awful.

Just scoring a goal there will be a bonus.

I’m going and fully expecting 3-0 win.

We are bad around the back post at crosses and both attacking and defending corners - hardly ever anyone there.

Improving the first 11 is more important at the moment. It’s taken Arsenal 6-7 years to have the squad they have and that was built on a solid foundation of starters. I’d rather see someone who can come straight into the team and improve it than someone who will play on an irregular basis.
