Newcastle United striker, Andy Carroll, currently on loan at Preston North End, made it 2-0 just ten minutes later when he latched onto Jack Cork’s high ball and calmly found the net from five yards after Hamelka denied his first attempt.

Some Preston lads I know have said he looks decent for them and its shame the rest of their team is gash.  I'll speak to them today and see if I can get an update from them.  I dont even think they have won a game yet.

Winning a game seems a long way away for them, they've only scored 1 goal so far this season!
