Butt looked stoned tonight. There was one point where the ball was passed to him where he was stood still and literally did not move. Needless to say, the ball was robbed. It was bloody pathetic.

I saw that. Thought he must be ill or something. Looked fucked.

I was told by the barman "you're in an over-16s bar, so act like one" haf a minute or so following that.

Wasn't really the right place for me to watch a footy match in fairness.

A poor man's Scott Parker, tbh.

No way, such a harsh comment. It's not his position (midfield) what were people expecting him to do against a Derby brick wall who were playing very well in fairness. he's not the type of player who will create something in a tight pocket, he's a striker being played out of position. For him to be mentioned in this thread is harsh imo.

It is like asking:

What do you prefer: Dog shit, horse shit, cat shit, elephant shit or rabbit shit?

It doesn't matter at the end of the day, picking one above the other regardless of how big the shit is because you have still ended up with  shit.

Ameobi, because you can get away with poor full backs with quality centrebacks, but there isn't anyone who can cover for ameobi when he gets the ball, not worst individually but worst for the team as a whole.

Shola wasn't the reason we lost today.

are you saying that playing Martins instead of Ameobi would've made no difference, like if Martins had some of shola's chance, and martins can score goals without much help, while ameobi, needs it practically to bounce of him into the net.

Possibly, but probably not. Martins can create a goal out of nothing, but when he doesn't score he does just as little as Ameobi in terms of influencing a game. We lost the game in midfield and tactically.
