Just got back from watching Stevenage play against Farsley Celtic,  and was pretty shocked to see Serrant playing at left-back for Farsley.  Its got me wondering now,  what the hell happened to him?  Didn't he retire from football entirely a while back?

 

Seemed a good prospect at the time,  remember him getting called up to the England B squad.

Knee injury or something like that ended his career very early.

 

His brother is playing footie now, LB as well i think.

Yeah he was a good prospect when we signed but he ended being just another shit left back.  Got his insurance ££££'s & quit the pro game due inquiry.

 

The 3 Bradford lads who were good mates at the time; Dean Richards, Des Hamilton & Carl all shot to the top quickly, but were gone from the top very quickly. 2 with inquiry problems & one because he was shit.
