Guest optimistic nit
Spurs have quality in their squad, which is why they've finished 5th two seasons in a row, but good individual players don't make a good team. I disagree, mate. I look at their players and I just don't see any great quality there. That they finished 5th for two seasons in a row is pretty damning on the rest of the PL as far as I'm concerned. In 05/06 they were only 7 points ahead of us and we all know how average to crap we were most of the time. i agree with this actually. spurs spent what, 40 million, but quite frankly lennon is their only midfielder i would put in our XI, and you look at their defence, kabul and bale are good for their age, but i don't really rate anyone else there that much. dawson and gardener are shite and that portugesee player is average to good but no more. they are pretty weak in the keeping aspect as well. they have 4 really talented strikers but apart from that they seem pretty weak.
