Cacapa - Legend to Boumsong in 11 minutes...

We should spy on Livepool to see who their strikers are before picking our defence vs Liverpool.

For me:

Torres and Voronin = Cacapa and Taylor

Torres and Crouch = Cacapa and Rozehnal

Torres and Kuyt = Cacapa and Taylor

Crouch and Kuyt = Rozehnal and Taylor

Crouch and Voronin = Rozehnal and Cacapa

Kuyt and Voronin = Taylor and Cacapa.

If we dont know, I'd play Cacapa and Taylor.

Shame Faye is injured though, would have made selections easier.

i'd agree with this actually

I like Cacapa and I hope he makes it here, he started out very well but let's not forget his performances against Reading and Derby. Against Reading he was awful, it's quite a surprise we only conceded two in that game because they had plenty of chances. Sooner or later someone was going to take the constant chances we were giving away and Portsmouth happily obliged. If Portsmouth was just a bad day at the office then what were Reading and Derby?

Cacapa brings qualities to the table but he has some notable weaknesses. He doesn't look that comfortable with the pace or the physicality of the game here and both Reading and Portsmouth targetted him. Other teams will do the same, it's a question of whether he adjusts to how the game is played over here.

Your talking about him like he's a young player thats come from some poor league, the blokes played in france against powerfull strong types for years, Yes he may have had a few poor games and is undefendable for his performance v Portsmouth but he's clearly been the best defender we have had in years and sure he will bounce back and be the solid defender as we have all seen.

I didn't think Cacapa was that bad against Derby, Rozenhal had a stinker that day, probably his worst game for us.  He started OK then turned to shit, his passing was as bad as I've seen from any of our players this season.  Every ball he played out of defence seemed to go to a white shirt and then came straight back at us.

Seemed to lose a lot of confidence from missing an open net that night.
