Thespence
We are not a sinking ship, more like dinghy with a lot of liquid in it. I am unsure if that is water from leaks due to previous owneres or it is a bloke called Samuel Allardyce pissing in it.
Guest neesy111
why should be be given till end of the season, because on this form we r going to be relegated when do the alarm bell's ring, after january when we can't bring in any players, sunderland r only 5 points behind us and they have been crap all season he bought a left back for 7 million quid, then he drops him for left winger and then puts a right winger on the left his football is the worst ever seen at St James Park, Roeder and Souness were bad but this is boring and ineffective, the only time we look threatening yesterday was when we decided to go down the wings, which was like once or twice him being scared to drop Alan 'I dont have a position' Smith, who we just lumped the ball to yesterday picking geremi who is soo slow and a liability the fact that we go to games looking for the 0-0, and then try to contain teams like yesterday putting in 3 of the worst performances i have seen from a newcastle team i.e. Derby, Liverpool and Portsmouth he bought 1/2 of this team, he was brought in to improve the defence it's got worse than last season

The one that see's us currently sitting in 11th or are you just going off the last 5? Can't remember the last team that got relegated finishing 11th. Nice to see the worst performance ever seen line pulled out again aswell
9
It is a poor run of form yes but a lot of teams have them, especially teams like us (ie midtable). Exactly, people need to remember who we are and how awful we have been for the last 3 years, 5 games ago everyone was over the moon after our best start for years, no one has beat arsenal this season so it shouldnt be a deciding game for our manager whos been in charge 1/3rd of a season, if we play like we did 2nd half yesterday then we will win more games that we lose, if were planning on replacing a Manager who will give us at least a mid table safe finish with Shearer then we might as well start planning for Shearer's replacement as hes not going to last long either. Guest neesy111
erm 1 point from 15 and soon to be 1 point in 18 and the fact, we've had a pretty easy fixture schedule 1st 1/2 of the season we have the same amount of points last season, we're we WON at blackburn 3-1 now we got beat 3-
Paulie Walnuts
Flog the players who are unhappy with his training methods (bless them). Too much player power - a good team needs a strong manager. He needs time, meaning at least a season.
Guest neesy111
play like we did??? i can't remember friedel being tested apart from that barton chance how can we take positives from a defeat? thats what derby have been saying all season and actually they beat us as well this season

Exactly, people need to remember who we are and how awful we have been for the last 3 years, 5 games ago everyone was over the moon after our best start for years You've been listening to the media far too much, only the blind or moronic were over the moon about that. My opinion was that we'd had a very easy start to the season and despite being 5th or 6th the team didn't look good at all and the manager looked clueless. It was reminiscent of when Roeder first took over actually. A lot of people were blinded by the fact that'd we were winning games. But people who actually watched the games and had any sense all said the same thing, that we'd done well despite his management, not because of it, and that he should not be made permanent manager. Yep forgot the fact there are 9 teams below us, we lost to Derby! Thats the important part How long are they going to below us though? Relegation zone is now only 7 pionts below us and we are closer to 15th than we are to 9th and that could go to 17th depending on results today and tomorow. stozo
I bet you £1,000 we don't get relegated this season if Allardyce stays Maybe not but we should not be having this debate. We have squad capable of getting in Europe and we should not be struggling like we are and putting in such poor performances.

The team we put out that night motivated or not should have been capable of beating/not losing to derby, the 10's of thousands they pick up every we should have been motivation enough to beat the likes of derby. Teasy
We are the only team to lose to Derby. That just about sums up Allardyce's reign. yes because our Managers not a tactical genius we lost to Derby, no blame can be put on the players. He played: Harper Taylor - Cacapa - Rozehnal - N'Zogbia (three cente backs and a left winger) Smith - Geremi - Butt (a striker and two defensive midfielders) Ameobi Milner (a "striker" and a right winger) Owen (a small striker on his own up front to have high balls smashed at him all game). Then to top it off he told them to go for the draw!! After we went 1:0 down and looked completely and utterly hopeless against the worst side in the league he tried to fix things by bringing off Owen for Martins (still one small striker up front). When that genius move failed to bring us a goal he followed it up by bringing off Geremi for Faye! On 75 minutes, with us looking as hopeless as ever and heading aimlessly to defeat he made his final killer move, he brought on Beye for Taylor at right back. Yeah lets not blame Allardyce.. Based on that logic there is no need for Allardyce if the squad didn't need motivating. It's easy to go into the game thinking we would coast it especially after they had just lost 6-0 to Liverpool and it was Allardyce's job to make sure we didn't get complacent, the fact is we played shit that night, Allardyce put out the wrong team and didn't have the players up for it.
