Didn't realise he was sent off for violent conduct after less than 20 minutes for MK Dons yesterday. :lol:

Smudge knows how to get the job done. Probably one of the most consistent midfielders in the whole of the football league in truth

The lad got a hiding while he played for us but at least he's dedicated to his career unlike certain players currently on the payroll.

 

Hearing that he wakes in pain everyday, because of his ankle, makes me feel for the lad.

 

I'm sure his millions will help soothe the pain...

A great deal of athletes and former athletes wake up in pain because of a career-ending/shortening injury sustained. Few of them get £250,000 every month for 6 years after the injury. He's a lucky, lucky boy.

Agreed. I'm not saying he should have sympathy, just giving him some credit in that he could easily have retired but he's passing on his experience & knowledge to others and preparing for the future (scouting etc).
