How many foreign players have played for NUFC since we joined the Premier League

Been doing this on another forum, ive managed to get 66 so far but ive probably missed people off/and or put people in the wrong place. If anyone can help me and update the list then that would be great Dont include Irish, N.Irish, Scottish or Welsh ones though.

Look how many Frenchmen we have used, we go through frenchmen like a fat munter goes through curry chips down the big market.

 

For a city in north east of England we should really try and use or pick up more players from Sweden, Norway, Finland etc.

There are hardly any players of quality up here. Some could do a job for NUFC but not more IMO.

Why not include Irish?  I understand N.Irish, Scottish and Welsh because they're not foreign, they're part of Britain but Ireland isn't.  It's a totally different country.  Why not say Don't include the French while we're at it or Americans.

The question is how many players have played for Newcastle in the premier league.  How many pre war players have lived long enough to play in the premier league?

It isn't complicated as this is post Premier League - many years after Ireland gained complete independence from the UK. Michael Collins didn't fight in the Irish Civil War so that Irish players weren't considered foreign players in the UK 85 years later.

you went through your programmes from over the years ? just go down the lists per season and see who is added to the list etc... should help you out
