Dokko
Id be happy to get Emre off the wage bill. Yeah, fortunatley it isn't up to you. You'd keep a £60kpw player who's never fit on the books for what reason? Thank fuk you are nowt special either.

He was after Emre when he was at City, what would make him want to offload him for a few million? And where are you quoting £60k a week from?
TRon
There's no need to offload anyone unless we get a decent fee. If we can get our £4m back then great, otherwise Keegan will probably want to use him. I can imagine him looking pretty tasty in the 4-3-3 with us playing passing football now. Guest Sniffer
Because he's never off the treatment table perhaps. Or maybe he'd like something better in the midfield now that he's seen that emre isn't that good.

Guest Sniffer
A lot of the time he's been here. A few good games and goals for sure but overall far too inconsistent. I doubt if any premier league teams that we hope to compete with will jump at the chance of signing emre.

Emre is a good player, but his injury record is disgusting, he has offered near enough nothing since his arrival, and really it was the same at Inter. Summary: Not missed if sold, and put whatever money we can get for him to another palyer who actually makes it onto the field now and then.
Wullie
I like Emre as a player but he's got to go. Not much doubt about that imo.

Guest 22bnw
Emre is a good player but he can't stay fit - just like all of Souness' signings (apart from Boumsong, who was neither good nor injury prone) He generally gets a few assists in but then I guess plenty of midfielders could...if he leaves we need to replace him but it would be no huge loss

But I'm fairly sure that, as for the nicknames, Alan Smith really is called "Smudger" by his teammates -- that's not one the site made up. Michael Owen, as well, is called "MO" by his teammates (and by Steve McClaren, who called his players "Stevie G", "JT", "Mo", etc. like they were all best mates). The puns can be blamed on the site, but I don't think the nicknames can.
Guest elbee909
"The fans are unbelievable, imagine what they would be like if we were in the top five?" Probably booing like they did Bobby Robson, no doubt.

Even though it was a massively disappointing season, that was terrible, but I don't see why you're bringing it up now.

I think I just saw '"top five" and that reminded me of that; coming fifth. Otherwise was completely unwarranted, indeed.

Are you thinking of the official site in general? World is a subscription service working alongside the main website which shows highlights and interviews with the manager/players. There's nothing to read as such on World.

The interview with Martins is an example of this though isn't it ? Would they ever say anything that wasn't "good" publicity ?
