Greg
Not to get all Allardyce on it but the Fantasy league stats say Guthrie is hammering him on assists.... http://fantasy.football-league.co.uk/playerlist.aspx Even though Guthrie has played less games. Ryan Taylor has only one less assist and twice as many goals, and no-one's praising him too much. Hardly hammering him, including cup games Jonas and Guthrie both have 8 assists. Thespence
I am not expecting him to be CR9 but f*** me sometimes SHOOT you f***ing latino f***ing hippy c***!!!! Is it worth getting Paul McKenna in to see if hypnotherapy can help him make up his mind to either cross or shoot after beating numerous players & running a lot of yards. Dokko
I am not expecting him to be CR9 but fuck me sometimes SHOOT you fucking latino fucking hippy cunt!!!! Is it worth getting Paul McKenna in to see if hypnotherapy can help cross or shoot after beating numerous players & running a lot of yards. I was hoping for Nobby to come in and show him how its done. Transfer Nobby's brain in to Jonas' head and we have a worldclass winger. Transfer a stale pea in to Jonas' head and we'd certainly have a better player than what we've got.

Jayson
He's been in the team whenever fit and when we play the ball on the deck it usually goes through him, so he should be getting assists. Not when the opposition puts two defenders on him because of it
Guest Heneage
He has clearly been earmarked as a danger, defenders get tight on him and double up when they can, we need someone of similar pace and movement on the other side to allow him to be more effective. AyeDubbleYoo
Probably our best player tonight, wish he had set up the winner at the end there. Basically my view is that we have so many worse players, he should be at the back of the queue for criticism.

Spot on, and they can afford to double up on him because the rest of our midfield holds very little attacking threat.
Thespence
He is bailed out fair bit by having Jose behind him, he is our best player to watch when he is in full flow but he really need to produce in the final 3rd.
Ronaldo
Best player tonight, but still frustrating.
Jayson
You can't also ignore the drop in quality of the opposition, his inability to score (his one goal this season was class and he should tear most championship teams apart like that if he has the ability) and his total inconsistency. Who is he joint with on assists btw? Not ignoring it. I dont see the drop in quality of the opposition being motivational to a player who gets into Argentinas first team, itd be demotivating if anything. He's rubbish at shooting generally yes & should do better with his final ball as shown tonight when hes in full flight. Joint on assists with Guthrie at 8, R taylor has about 3/4. David28
Could be world class if he would be able to pick a final pass/cross.

He takes so much pressure of us by bringing the ball out of defence, he's always putting doubt in the minds of defenders who end up backing off or giving away free kicks, he normally has two players on him so we should have space to exploit elsewhere etc. People are saying he's bailed out/helped by Enrique but would Enrique be as good without Jonas in front of him? Guest firetotheworks
I've decided this argument will never end. The same things are being brought up time and time again. He's Marmite.

It also means sweet FA btw.. you see should some of the other players in Maradona's squad. Ive mentioned it twice & it seems a pretty obvious point to make. You dont think he's used to playing at a higher standard than the championship then? Thats the only way it could mean FA.

Sorry but there's a clear reason Guthrie's hammering him, because he's being given the space that Jonas play free's up, whole teams shift to the lift to deal with the danger of Jose and Jonas, meaning often he has acres of space on the right, to cross, shoot, pass whatever, imagine if we had more players that passed and moved, it would be fantastic, where as right now we are only truly dangerous from the left hand side. Cajun
Jonas was fucking awesome and fucking shit tonight. Did some awesome things and some shocking. Unfortunately his brain is a second or so slower from him being a top class player.
Frazzle
Put him in a team where he doesn't have to create almost everything and he'd look quality IMO, a bit like when he started under Keegan (v Man U, Bolton even v Valencia).
