Take that one up with Sir John Hall.

I would, I don't think he gave a s*** who he sold the club to, but at least he managed to have it up for sale for 2 years without as much disruption to the team.

tbf, SJH didn't even want the club in the first place.

Rob Lee made an interesting point on Sky there.

If Mike Ashley came out and held his hands up like Levy this weekend, and admitted he'd f*cked up, got rid of everyone, and brought back a manager with sole control, would people take him back?

No.

Yes.

Yes.

JK is not the most reliable source as Ashley could just be telling him anything

The only reason it ever speeded up was through Chris Nathanial and Jonathon Cleland shouting their mouths off.

Keith Harris has said nothing other than things are progressing, however 'pencils havnt been sharpened yet'

Kinnear: November 22 is judgement day for NUFC

Oct 31 2008 By Lee Ryder

NEWCASTLE United chief Joe Kinnear has revealed he expects the club's future to become clear after the visit to Chelsea in three weeks' time.

With United still up for sale but no bids on the table, the future on Tyneside is still up in the air.

And at his Press conference ahead of Monday's game with Aston Villa, Kinnear said: “I’ve always said I would honour what I do.

“But I know that after Chelsea (on November 22) it is D-day.

“After that it will all be revealed.

“It was going to be up to the Chelsea game.

“Either it will be sold or they’ve changed their minds.

“We talk after Chelsea.

“In the short-term I will do best but it might get sold under my feet.

“We’ve had Russians and South Africans but nobody has stepped up.

“But your guess is as good as mine.

“Myself, Mike Ashley, Dennis Wise and Derek Llambias will all sit down."

Kinnear though admitted he is keen to discover if he is going to be backed in the transfer market if he is still in charge.

He added: “I have asked if there is a 'game plan' if the club isn’t sold.

“Obviously if I do stay I would like finances."

And Kinnear feels that the club's future needs to be sorted for all concerned on Tyneside.

He said: “We need to have clear the air talks.

“That would be good for all of us.

“Myself, the players, the fans and everybody associated with the club."

Terrible, plain terrible.  Our only info is coming from JK and he should not be expected to make comments like this on the sale of the club.

Let this be a lesson to all football fans.

What a fucking mess.

I'm not really sure it's a lesson to football fans.  They tend not to run the clubs like this.
