No idea because every one of them I’ve watched has shown them to be completely unbalanced mismatches

Just seems a complete waste of time. Newcastle were like 10-11/1 to win, massive outsiders, there's probably 2-3,000 in attendance so even the team 'names' are not bringing in the crowds (plus Huddersfield have beaten our first team twice not too long ago, albeit in a different regime).

The likes of Cathal Heffernan and Charlie McArthur, both turned 20 4 or 5 months ago, so not exactly crazy young, and you could easily be playing at a decent level at that age, both been here at least 2 years, 3 in McArthurs case. I'm sure they were relatively highly rated when they came in, and it's obviously 11 on a team and not just 4 or 5 'better players', and not writing them off, but have those not really pushed on as hoped, or were they always likely to end up at a Drogheda or Montrose after a few years at the club and more here to fill out a name on a team sheet?

What actually is the main purpose / advantage of these U21 playing in these competitions? Is it mainly 'experience' for the younger players?

Gives the under 21s experience of mens football. Another way the FA have catered to the big clubs and ruined a decent competition for lower league sides

What’s the deal here? How old are some of Huddersfield’s players? Some

of them look ancient. We’ve produced nothing in the fifteen minutes I’ve watched other than an incredibly lucky deflection

It’s Huddersfield’s regular side

It’s (some of) our U21's vs Huddersfield's League 1 squad. Not Huddersfield's U21’s

6-1 down, why’s this new coach continuing playing pep ball

He literally started yesterday, I doubt for one minute he's had much of a handle on the prep for today's game in reality. And if you mean pass the ball around at the back for Pep Ball, as opposed to what our first team does, which since January 2022 has been to pass it around at the back 🤷🏻‍♂️

No we don’t play pep ball at the back, dunno what you watch but we don’t play the Man City way.
