Guest Phil K
At the moment, Mickey Quinn vociferously defending NUFC and the fans on Talk Spurt Hey - some of the spite from other clubs....Jeebers. "They ARE a big club, 52,000 every home game ? ? ? Isn't that big ? from Mickey just 30 seconds ago. Funny thing - the two NUFC fans the Talk Sport van interviewed outside the ground were cockneys ! ! And yeah - "we" theres only a few do that. Mick Martin, John Anderson, John Beresford, Rob Lee. Yes, they all do.

Thats the only thing I regret about us going up in '93 - that 'Ned' didn't get the chance to stay and play for us in the Premier League the following season. After the likes of Cole, Ferdinand and Shearer, its sometimes forgotten how important a player he was for us - and that he may have scored one of, if not THE most important goals in the clubs history, in that match aginst Portsmouth up here.
